What should I do if the water flow in the shower nozzle is small? Generally, the water flow in the shower is blocked or rusted by scale, which needs to be dredged and cleaned. You can remove the shower nozzle, gently shake down the water inlet, and then pour out the debris. Pay attention to save the accessories when removing the nozzle. In addition, you can use small objects, such as embroidery needles, when cleaning. Punch the needle into each outlet hole at one time to make the scale fall off from the inner wall of the outlet hole, pour the water into the nozzle from the water inlet, shake it, and pour out the water to completely clean the scale.

Choose a container where the shower head can be put down, pour in weak acid such as white vinegar, toilet cleaner or scale cleaner, soak the outlet end of the shower head for a period of time (3-4 hours is appropriate), then brush it with a small toothbrush or other clean brushes, and then rinse it with clear water. One thing to pay attention to when using this method is to choose weak acid instead of strong acid. Generally, there is an electroplating layer on the surface of the shower head, or other parts are made of metal, which will lead to the corrosion of the shower head when encountering strong acid.

One of the reasons for the small water flow of shower head is that the shower head has been used for a long time, and the scale impurities block the nozzle or pipeline. Because of the scale of the water heater, some of it will enter the shower, but now the water itself has impurities, sand rust and so on. You can remove the shower head and angle valve for inspection and cleaning.

You can soak it in detergent or white vinegar for cleaning. The method to determine the reason is that the water output of other faucets is normal, and only the water output of shower is low. The other is that the mixing valve of the shower head is blocked or damaged.

One is the low water pressure, which may be that the secondary booster pump in residential buildings is not easy to use, or the water supply company is under pressure, or the pre-filter installed in household water pipes is blocked and needs to be cleaned, or the whole house water purification system is not easy to use. You can drain water by checking other taps. If the water output of other faucets drops and the water pressure is insufficient, it may be caused by the above reasons. If there is no problem with the water pressure in the neighbor's house, it may be the reason at home.

There is also the problem of the water heater. If there is no problem with the cold water outlet, the hot water outlet is relatively small, which may be caused by the blockage of the inlet and outlet of the water heater. You should clean the water heater. Then someone turned down the waterway inlet valve, or the waterway valve was broken and could not be fully opened. If there is no problem with the water in other places, but the water output from the shower is very small, then it is mainly the problem of the shower.
