In June 2005, it might not be anything special to other graduates, but this mountain girl from deep in the mountains had a bold idea - to hold a concert. She wanted to use this method to repay the teachers and alma mater who trained her when she was about to graduate, and also let the outside world know her own strength. So she just went ahead and with the help of Teacher Zhang and others, she and another friend Hu Tingting successfully held their first solo concert at the Liandu Convention Center on June 4, 2005. This concert was played with piano accompaniment from beginning to end, which was undoubtedly a big challenge for the singer, but the bursts of applause at the concert confirmed the strength of this mountain girl.

The success of the concert prompted this music-crazed girl to work harder, and then she represented Lishui College in the second Lishui City Young Singer Competition. Those who competed with her on the stage were all masters, including outstanding singers from various counties and cities, as well as teachers from Lishui College. In the end, she narrowly missed the silver medal and was named an outstanding graduate of Lishui College in 2005.

After graduation, she returned to Songyang, the hometown where she was born and raised. When someone asked her why she wanted to go back to her hometown to find a job, she responded with a song like this: "Ah, fellow countrymen, even if a tree is a thousand feet high, you can't forget its roots..." After returning to her hometown, she successfully passed the teacher qualification examination and entered the workforce. Teacher ranks. Her workplace is far away from Songyang County and is an old revolutionary area, but she said that being a teacher was her childhood dream and she has no regrets. She said that she came from a mountainous area and was nurtured by the green mountains and green waters. She should contribute to the education in the mountainous area. In this way, she was learning and teaching at the same time, taking into account her own major. In April 2006, she participated in the CCTV National Young Singer Television Grand Prix, won the silver medal in the Lishui competition area, and represented Lishui in the provincial finals. In June of this year, she participated in the first Young Singer Competition organized by Huijin Real Estate, conquered the audience and judges with her beautiful singing voice, and won the championship.

But she is not satisfied with her current honors. She wants to go out and realize her dream in Beijing, the cultural capital. After learning that there was an international vocal and instrumental music competition "Care for You, Me, Him and Green Dreams" organized by the Talent Exchange Center of the China State Administration of Radio, Film and Television in August this year, she embarked on the train to Beijing with teacher Mao Weiying and her dreams. In this competition, after online preliminary rounds and on-site rematches, 100 contestants were finally selected to participate in the finals. Liu Jinyan, the golden phoenix who flew out of the ravine, finally won the gold medal in the National Vocal Youth Group with her calm singing and superb skills! Liu Changming, a judge of the competition organizing committee and an older artist from the General Political Department Song and Dance Ensemble, said in his comments: "It's really better to be better than the old! Now, she has returned to her ordinary job and started a new round of teaching. During more than two years in that ordinary middle school, she not only had strict requirements for her major, but also discovered and tutored a group of outstanding music talents. These students have won many awards in various vocal competitions in counties, cities and even provinces. Obtained excellent results for the first time. When talking about her students, she always smiles lightly and says that she hopes these students can surpass herself one day and achieve better results. Of course, she will continue to work as a teacher and cultivate more and better musical talents. After all, that is her greatest wish in this life.
