Previously, some local netizens in Tianjin reported that there was a fire hazard in the decoration of the fire building. On September 25th this year, Tianjin netizen "Luan Bin" reported through the Internet that the top floor and lobby of Sheng Jie Friendship Hotel Apartment were renovated at the same time, and there was a potential safety hazard.

The above-mentioned netizens said that there were some problems in Sheng Jie Friendship Hotel Apartment, such as "the fire-fighting facilities on site were damaged, the smoke detectors were wrapped in plastic bags, and wires, stones and iron bars were exposed overhead", which had serious security risks.

On September 28 this year, the Hexi District Government of Tianjin replied to the above-mentioned netizens that the district government had instructed the Youyi Road Sub-district Office of Hexi District to conduct verification.

After investigation, the interior of Sheng Jie Friendship Hotel Apartment is being renovated by Beijing Lily Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. On September 25th, the staff of Social Affairs Management Section of Friendship Road Sub-district Office and director of Comprehensive Management Office of Yijing Village Neighborhood Committee * * * arrived at Sheng Jie Hotel to check the situation. Upon on-site inquiry to the person in charge, only the lobby on the top 37th floor and 1 floor is under renovation, and it is currently in the demolition stage in the early stage of renovation. On September 26th, the staff of the neighborhood committee contacted the person in charge of the hotel again and asked them to restore the fire escape and smoke detector. Restore to the original state within one day, and remove the sundries. The person in charge expressed his approval. On the afternoon of September 27th, the staff of Street Social Affairs Management Section and the director of comprehensive management of Yijing Village neighborhood committee arrived at the 38th and 39th floors of Sheng Jie Hotel to inspect the fire exits, smoke detectors and construction sites. After on-site investigation, he has been restored to his post.

The Beijing News previously reported that Tianjin Taihe Jinhui Real Estate Co., Ltd. held a press conference on June 25 this year, saying that after the acquisition, the apartment will be upgraded as a whole, and the lobby, public areas, supporting clubs and all living units will be renovated. It is expected to open in February this year. The fire broke out on the 38th floor of Sheng Jie Friendship Service Apartment.
