What does the self-discipline convention mean?

Self-discipline convention refers to the industry self-discipline convention. Also known as industry self-discipline convention and deed of mutual covenant, it refers to the code of conduct that is universally binding on all members of industry self-discipline organizations for the common interests of industry members and the sustained and healthy development of the industry. It is a normative legal document that is ubiquitous in industry self-discipline management.
