Architectural layout of Hangzhou West Lake Museum

The first exhibition hall-Tiankai Film Industry. The exhibition hall briefly introduces the geographical location of the West Lake, and shows the material basis of the cultural landscape of the West Lake from the aspects of mountains, water, ecology and overall pattern.

The second exhibition hall, the power of transformation, describes the history of Hangzhou citizens' continuous dredging, maintenance and artificial transformation of the West Lake for survival and development, shows the inseparable relationship between Hangzhou city and the West Lake, and vividly shows the continuous interactive relationship between people and the Lake. It shows that the West Lake is indispensable to the life of Hangzhou people.

The third exhibition hall, Yu Xiu, Zhong Ling, picturesque shows the origin and inheritance of the ten scenic spots of the West Lake, the representative of ancient China, leaving a colorful page for this essence of the West Lake landscape.

The Pearl of Heaven in the fourth exhibition hall explains the humanistic connotation of the West Lake landscape from the aspects of religion, loyalty and filial piety, seclusion, book collection, literature and art, and tells us vivid historical stories.
