Zigong, located in the south of Sichuan Province, a land of abundance, is the "land of the essence of Sichuan Province". It is rich in historical and cultural accumulation, unique in culture and natural landscape, and Li Zhuo ranks among the cities in China with its unique style and charm. It has a reputation as a salt capital for thousands of years, a hometown of dinosaurs and a lamp city in the south. 1986, Zigong was awarded a national historical and cultural city by the State Council, and was later approved as a provincial-level scenic spot, a national open city and a national health city. Zigong is surrounded by mountains and waters, with a beautiful and pleasant environment. It is famous as "the Millennium Salt Capital", "the hometown of dinosaurs" and "the Southern Light Capital".

"Ziliujing-Dinosaur Scenic Area" has been identified as a provincial-level scenic spot. Due to the transportation mode of well salt in history and the topographical conditions of shallow hills, the urban layout with artesian wells and tribute wells as the main body is intertwined with rolling mountains and winding rivers and streams, forming a "half-city, half-castle and half-tower" mountain city style integrating mountains, water and cities. Even in the center of the city, although the buildings are uneven and the streets are bustling, there are still mountains dotted with clear water. Surrounded by green mountains and green waters, under the shadow of hundreds of ancient banyan trees, you can still see all kinds of well-preserved salt industry fellow villagers and guildhall, as well as traditional blocks paved with slate and wooden headframes dozens of meters high-crape myrtle and camphor are all over the city, flying red and inlaid with jade, which makes the salt more exquisite, subtle and elegant.

Zigong is famous for its abundant well salt and is known as the "salt capital". Its long history of extracting brine to make salt can be traced back to the Eastern Han Dynasty (76-88 AD) nearly two thousand years ago. During the period of Emperor Wu of the Northern Zhou Dynasty (AD 56 1 ~578), Fushi County was established because of its rich salt wells, and Gongjing Town was established because of Dagong Well.

In the first year of Tang Wude (AD 6 18), the town was renamed Gongjing County because it was located in Rongzhou. In the third year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty (1853), Nanjing was captured by Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, and Huaiyan was blocked. Sichuan salt helped Chu to transport and sell the coastal markets of Hunan, Hubei and Huaihe River. During the period of 1937, the Anti-Japanese War rose, sea salt stagnated and Sichuan salt rose, so it was necessary to set up a new market. September 1939, 1, Ziliujing and Gongjing, two fields known as Furong Salt Field in Sichuan salt history, were merged by Fushun and Rongxian County, and Zigong City was established under the provincial jurisdiction. Zigong's road of setting up towns and cities due to salt is a typical road of urban development based on resource development. Zigong occupies an important position in the history of ancient science and technology, economic history and urban development in China. The historical and cultural connotation with well salt culture as the main body is very rich. There are 88 cultural relics protection units in the city. Among them, Xiqin Hall, Shenhaijing, Rongxian Giant Buddha, Fushun Confucian Temple and Wu's former residence, where Zigong Salt History Museum is located, are all national key cultural relics protection units.

2. Dashanpu dinosaur fossil site

Dashanpu dinosaur fossil site is located near Dashanpu Town in the northeast suburb of Zigong City, Sichuan Province, about 1 1 km. It is rich in fossils of dinosaurs and other vertebrates from the Middle Jurassic1.600 million years ago. It is the most important burial place of dinosaur fossils in China and one of the most important burial places of paleontology fossils in the world. The site was first discovered in 1972 and 1977, and a relatively complete sauropod dinosaur skeleton was obtained. 1979 due to infrastructure construction, a large number of fossils were exposed. During the period of 1979~ 1984, three large-scale cleanups and excavations were organized successively, and tens of thousands of dinosaur and other vertebrate fossil bone specimens of more than 200 individuals were obtained within a range of about 2,800 square meters, from which 18 genera of dinosaur fish, amphibians, turtles, crocodiles and pterodactyls were studied and named. It is estimated that the whole fossil group is buried in a concentrated area of about 17000 square meters, with more than 654.38+million fossil bones, which is known as the "dinosaur graveyard". In the mid-1980s, Zigong Dinosaur Museum, the first large-scale dinosaur site museum in China, was built on this site.

Dashanpu dinosaur fossil group site has the characteristics of huge fossil reserves, complete species, concentrated burial and complete preservation. As a rare natural and historical heritage, its fossils not only have important value for popular science education and tourism, but also fill the gap in the early-middle Jurassic dinosaur fossil materials in the evolutionary history of dinosaurs, and have important scientific value for studying the systematic evolution, physiological characteristics and living environment of dinosaurs and related ancient animals.

Dashanpu dinosaur fossil site is located next to Nei (Jiang) Le (Shan) Highway, and the Nei (Jiang) Yi (Bin) Expressway and Nei (Jiang) Kun (Ming) Railway, which are connected with Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway and chengdu-chongqing railway respectively, also pass through here, with exits and railway stations respectively. It is 202 kilometers away from Chengdu and 204 kilometers away from Chongqing, with convenient transportation.

3. Zigong dinosaur museum

The dinosaur fossil excavation site at Dashanpu in the northeast suburb of Zigong City is 1 1 km away from Zigong City. It is another large site museum in China after Banpo Site and Terracotta Warriors Pit. The first phase of the museum covers an area of 25,000 square meters with a building area of 6,000 square meters. It is divided into three parts: buildings, green belts and ancillary buildings. There are fossil burial hall, central hall, fossil shelf exhibition hall, lecture hall and dinosaur ecological environment hall in the main building. The burial place of dinosaurs is 1900 square meters. It can be seen that the bones of various dinosaurs are scattered and staggered, distributed in sandstone layers extending almost horizontally, which is the epitome of a huge dinosaur cemetery. In the shelf hall, there is a "Tianfu Emeilong" with a height of nearly 10 meters, a number of dinosaur restoration skeleton combinations, and ancient vertebrate fossils. Natural sandstone stones are used in the building modeling, which makes the whole building in harmony with the dinosaur excavation site, with novel concept, unique modeling and fascinating. Hundreds of dinosaurs and associated fossils have been unearthed in Dashanpu, forming a complete "dinosaur fauna". It includes 3 classes, 1 1 orders and 15 families, including terrestrial, aquatic, amphibious and airborne vertebrate paleontology. There are herbivorous sauropods with a length of 20 meters, fierce carnivorous dinosaurs and a large number of intact sauropods with short cervical vertebrae, as well as ornithopods with a length of only 14 meters. The most precious are the earliest middle Jurassic stegosaurus and the first pterosaur found in the world, which filled a blank in the evolutionary history of dinosaurs. Zigong Dinosaur Museum was rated as one of the "Forty Best Tourist Attractions in China".

Zigong Museum is internationally as famous as the National Dinosaur Park of the United States and the Dinosaur Park of Canada, and is collectively known as the three largest dinosaur museums in the world. Zigong Dinosaur Museum is located in Dashanpu, Zigong City, Sichuan Province.

Zigong, Sichuan is an important dinosaur fossil producing area in China. The Jurassic terrestrial strata in this area (65.438+0.35 billion years ago-26.5438+0 billion years ago) were quite developed, and dinosaur fossils were buried in the early and middle Jurassic terrestrial strata, which was the weak link of dinosaur research in the world, so the dinosaur fossils in Zigong provided rich and key raw materials for the world to study the evolution of dinosaurs.

According to the geological survey, during the Jurassic period, Zigong was an open lakeside zone with hot climate, abundant aquatic plants and towering trees, which was an ideal place for dinosaurs to live, while Dashanpu was a calm sandy shoal, where the dead dinosaur remains and the sediments carried by the river from a distance were buried. The accumulation of human remains and the burial of sediments alternated for a long time, and then after a long backlog of/kloc-0 to 200 million years, today's fossil-bearing sandstone layer was finally formed.

The dinosaur museum looks like a huge cave, which is strange and beautiful. It is another large-scale professional site museum after Xi 'an Banpo Museum and Qin Shihuang Terracotta Warriors Museum. Covering an area of 25,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 3,600 square meters, it is divided into three floors. The exhibition focuses on the burial site of dinosaur fossils in Dashanpu and the unearthed dinosaur fossils. The exhibition is divided into three parts:
