I want to go on a free trip to Hong Kong, and I hope you can give me some comprehensive suggestions or plans on where to eat, drink, play and stay...Thank you...

Hong Kong is a bustling international metropolis. After visiting Hong Kong for free travel, everyone said that Hong Kong is indeed a particularly fun place. This time I read a lot of free travel guides online, and then I went to Hong Kong to visit.

(1) Free transportation

You can also use Octopus on buses in Hong Kong, but there are many types of buses, and they seem to be divided into buses and minibuses. Anyway, I often can’t find them. Once you reach the stop sign, you will be more likely to get lost, so it is recommended to take the subway as much as possible.

Hong Kong also has a day pass, which costs HK$55. You can ride unlimited times on the MTR within 24 hours except for the Airport Express and the line from Luo Wu to Hung Hom. If you have to take the subway frequently throughout the day, it is still relatively cost-effective.

(2) Free travel hotels

Hotels in Hong Kong generally have small rooms, expensive prices, and limited space. It is recommended to book a room online in advance, and the price can be greatly reduced. We booked the room on Taobao one month in advance, and we booked the hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui Xintiandi. This hotel is in a very good location. It takes three minutes to turn left from Exit D of Jordan MTR Station. It has convenient transportation and is in a prosperous area of ??Hong Kong. It is very close to Tsim Sha Tsui, Harbor City, Temple Street Night Market and other places, and you can go there all within walking distance. We booked more than 900 family rooms on Taobao, and I personally think the price-performance ratio is relatively high.

(3) Free travel attractions:

1. Victoria Peak Cable Car, Skydeck, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

Tickets are booked in advance on Taobao , all are package tickets, which can be a lot cheaper. The cable car and the skyscraper are on the same ticket, which is a cash ticket. You can save the time of queuing to buy cable car tickets and just queue up to take the cable car. Just have fun when you see people lining up to buy cable car tickets

and you just line up to ride. Tickets for the wax museum need to be exchanged at the entrance of the wax museum. There is basically no queue, which is very convenient.

We took the 15C minibus to the Peak Tram Station, but the stop sign for 15C was very difficult to find. We first took the subway to Central. After exiting Exit A, we asked for directions along the road. We missed it several times along the way. Finally I found the station under the clock tower of the Central Pier. I can’t remember exactly how I walked along the way, but after thinking about it, I figured I could go directly to the station by exiting the subway and walking on a long blue sky corridor that looks like an overpass. If you want to ask for directions, it's best to ask the bus driver. They are familiar with the locations of various bus stops. After taking the 15C, the terminal station is the cable car station. Show the cable car ticket to the staff there and he will guide you directly to the cable car queue. There are a lot of people lining up, so don’t get in the wrong line.

After taking the cable car to the top of the mountain, you will be in a building, seemingly called Lingxiao Pavilion. There are many floors in Lingxiao Pavilion, and the p1 floor is Madame Tussauds. If you have booked a ticket package online in advance, the entrance to the wax museum is where you can exchange your tickets. It is recommended to go to the cable car at two o'clock in the afternoon, then visit the Wax Museum first, and then stroll around each floor of Lingxiao Pavilion. There are many shops at the Peak Plaza, and there are many restaurants on each floor of Lingxiao Pavilion. The Sky Terrace is located on the top floor of Lingxiao Pavilion and is a 360-degree viewing platform. The ticket is the lift ticket, so don’t lose it. The ticket can only be used once, and you cannot go back up after you get off the skyscraper. So I went up to the skyscraper at around five o'clock in the afternoon. I could overlook Victoria Harbor and get a panoramic view of Hong Kong during the day. After that, I have been waiting on the sky terrace for nightfall. The skyscraper is still a bit cold in the evening if the wind blows, so try not to wear shorts. It was cloudy and windy on the day I went, and it felt amazing to see the clouds drifting over, surrounded by mist. Wait until about 7:30, when it will be completely dark, and then you will enjoy the night view of Victoria Harbor. The lights of the surrounding high-rise buildings are all bright, which is very beautiful. By the way, the night view looks beautiful, but the photo effect may not be good. Dad’s entry-level SLR produces slightly better results, but it requires superb technology and a tripod, otherwise the photos will not be clear. Ordinary digital cameras, mobile phones, etc. really focus on participation. But don’t just take pictures of such a beautiful scenery, the most important thing is to feel it with your heart. There are still many people queuing up for the cable car when going down the mountain. You can also choose to take the bus. There are many buses to the Central Pier. There are fewer people queuing up, but the journey is longer than the cable car.

2. Disneyland

The tickets were also booked on Taobao before. They are much cheaper and can be used directly.

It is very convenient to take the subway to Disneyland. From where we live, the most convenient way is to take the MTR from Jordan Station to Lai King Station, then transfer to the Tung Chung Line and take the MTR to Sunny Bay Station, and then transfer to the Disneyland Station. The line is right there. We arrived at Disneyland around 9:30, and now we are taking some photos at the entrance, and we are letting in through the big gate. After entering, you must first get a free Disneyland map. In addition to showing the location of each world, as well as the locations of toilets, restaurants, etc., the map also shows special attention to the signs with Mickey fingers, which represent the locations where cartoon characters appear. Also pay attention to the time of the water splash

The parade and the evening fireworks show, which are very exciting. Disney has 4 projects where you can get FASTPASS: Space Mountain, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear Interstellar Adventure, FP specific method: insert the ticket into the FP machine port, FP will automatically pop up, and at the same time withdraw your ticket, you have to Play the project within the time period indicated by FP. During this time period, your tickets cannot be exchanged for FP for any other game. After getting FP, go to other places to play first, and then come back at the scheduled time. You can pass through the express lane to play this project first. Because you need tickets to exchange for FP, be sure to keep the tickets. These three projects are relatively worth playing, and there are many people queuing up. It is worth noting that by the afternoon, everyone will have taken out FP. So one of the projects may still need to be queued by itself.

There is an Eastgate Outlet Mall near Disney, which offers discounts throughout the year. It has many famous brands and the prices are relatively cheap. There is a wide range of items, but some of the latest styles are lacking. From Disney, take the MTR Disney Line to Sunny Bay Station, transfer to the Tung Chung Line, go to the terminal station, Tung Chung Station, and go up to the first floor. We left Disneyland and went to Eastgate Outlet Mall around 2pm. When we left Disneyland, we had to tell the staff at the door that we would come back and ask him to stamp an invisible stamp on our arm. Because Disney also has a beautiful fireworks show at night, I want to come back at night.

Disney has a fireworks show over the Sleeping Princess's Castle at nine o'clock in the evening, which is very beautiful. The performance lasted about five minutes, and there were many people watching. It is recommended to go to the exit as soon as possible when it is almost over, otherwise you will not be able to squeeze out when everyone starts to leave, and the subway will be very crowded. After watching it for three minutes, we started walking towards the gate. After exiting the gate, we ran all the way to the subway station. There were still relatively few people.

If you plan to take the subway to Disneyland and visit Eastgate Outlet on the way, it is more cost-effective to use the MTR Day Pass.

(4) Self-guided shopping in Hong Kong

The larger shopping malls in Hong Kong include Causeway Bay and Harbor City. The street in front of our hotel is called Jordan Road, and walking further ahead is Tsim Sha Tsui, which is also a commercial district where major shopping malls gather. Because they are all famous brands, even though they are discounted, they are still priced in the thousands. But

There are indeed so many varieties that it’s dazzling. You can dedicate a day to visit these places. Personally, I think the things in Harbor City are expensive, but the styles are new. Causeway Bay is slightly cheaper, and the cheapest one is Donghui Outlet Mall mentioned before.

Sasa and Bonjour can be found everywhere in the streets and alleys of Hong Kong. Friends who want to buy cosmetics are in luck. The price of gold in Hong Kong is indeed cheaper than that in the mainland. Stores like Chow Sang Sang and Chow Tai Fook only count the labor cost, but the converted gold price will still be twenty or thirty cheaper than in the mainland. In addition, when buying watches in Hong Kong, no matter what brand they are, they are generally cheaper.

(5) Self-guided food tour in Hong Kong

There are many delicious food around the hotel where I stay, among which I recommend a few. Yishun Dairy Company, the double skin milk is very delicious, and they also provide breakfast set meals, which are very affordable. I've eaten there twice. The store is small but clean, and the waiters are all uncles and aunts with good attitudes. At the same time, there is an Australian Milk Company nearby. I haven’t been there, but I heard it’s pretty good. The most recommended one is Tsui Wah Restaurant, the fish balls are really good. My dad’s favorite is the Kagoshima pork cartilage rice noodles. The pork cartilage tastes good and has a rich flavor. I will definitely eat it again if I have the chance. These restaurants are all located in small alleys. You can check Baidu Map for details. They are easy to find. I heard that the Manji desserts in Hong Kong are very good, so I wanted to try them. There is a food court on the third floor of Harbor City, but I went there on the last day. I was leaving Hong Kong at noon, so I went there early and it hadn’t opened yet. We arrived at 9:45, and the waiter there said it would only open at 10:00. We waited until ten o'clock and were told that there were only snacks and nothing else. So I had to leave with regret.

It is worth mentioning that the waiter at Manji Desserts had a very bad attitude. I asked her in standard Mandarin and was very polite, but she was very impatient and couldn't speak clearly. Another customer asked her in vernacular and her attitude was much better. I don’t know if it’s discrimination against mainlanders. I won’t go to that restaurant again next time.
