How to cook fresh edamame?

Boiled edamame is delicious.

Required materials: edamame, salt, pepper, star anise and ginger slices.

Exercise:

1, to make delicious boiled edamame, you must first choose the fresh edamame, which is green in color and looks full. This kind of edamame tastes best.

2. Wash the bought edamame, put it in a basin, sprinkle more salt, and rub it with your hands, so that the Mao Mao on it can be removed and it is easy to taste. Pour the kneaded edamame into salt water and marinate for 1 hour. If there is less salt, marinate it for a while.

3. In the process of pickling edamame, you can take a pair of scissors and cut a small mouth at the stalk at the end of edamame, which is more convenient to taste. Traditionally, cut both ends, but experience has proved that cutting one end is enough.

4. Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, and the amount of water should not exceed that of edamame. Then add salt to the water and drop a few drops of salad oil. Be careful not to add too much or too little salt, otherwise the taste will be greatly reduced.

In addition to adding salt, you can also add your favorite seasonings such as pepper, star anise and ginger slices, but be careful not to add too much seasoning, otherwise it will cover up the fragrance of edamame itself.

5. Boil the water in the pot, then add the edamame, and don't cover it. After the fire boils, turn to medium heat and keep boiling, and continue to cook for 6 to 10 minutes.

After the edamame is boiled, turn up the edamame at the bottom with a shovel in time, which will cook it thoroughly. Turn every 2 minutes or so.

6. When the edamame is cooked, turn off the fire immediately, but don't take it out immediately. Let the edamame continue to soak in the water for a while to make it fully tasty. Don't cover the pot when soaking edamame, otherwise edamame will turn yellow easily.

7. Taste every 10 minute. When the taste is just right, take out the edamame, drain it and put it on a plate. It tastes better after being chilled in summer. Summer is also the best season to eat edamame.
