It is said that there are ten such courtyards in Beizhai Village, each with its own characteristics.

The Health Garden is a folk compound invested and run by a Beijinger in Beizhai, with more than a dozen staff members. The "main building" is in the middle of the courtyard. Its shape is very distinctive. It is round, just like a Hakka earth building. It has a circle of guest rooms, restaurants, entertainment, and an open-air rockery and fish pond in the middle. In the ten folk courtyards, there are health gardens for city people and farmers' gardens for fellow villagers. The orchard is the same, but the rooms are different. The houses in Nongfuyuan are rows of wooden-looking bungalows with earthen beds and standard rooms.

Shengyuan Villa European-style Paradise

The entrance of Shengyuan Villa is not big, and only some red roofs can be seen through the dark green of the yard. But as soon as you walk in, you will find that there is a different world. There is a towering ancient chestnut tree in the yard that is more than 500 years old, which is the treasure of the villa. It is said that Cixi once visited the tree.

It is said that there are 50 families living in the castle who are descendants of border soldiers from the Ming Dynasty.
