There is no hotel in the new airport now, so you can take the airport bus or taxi to the urban area as appropriate (now the main buses are from the hotel to and from the new airport, so I personally recommend the hotel near Juhua Village in East Station, because there is a bus to Chenggong New Campus.

1, the new airport (Changshui International Airport) is far from the urban area, just built, and there are basically no supporting facilities. Either stay in a hotel in downtown Kunming or stay at the airport that night.

The subway line 6 from the new airport to the urban area has just arrived at the eastern passenger station. Although there is a small hotel nearby, it is very unsafe, and there are many black car frauds. It is not recommended to go to the eastern passenger station by bus or subway.

3. The school also has emergency check-in measures at night, including dormitory and bedding (no problem if you bring your own), but you can also take a taxi directly to the school during your stay (estimated at several hundred yuan). If you are an old student, take a taxi directly to school (regular taxi), and the hotel will stay for one night 100.

4. More than ten kilometers from the urban area to Chenggong (closer to the new airport, but not in the same direction). There is a 170 bus in Juhua Village and a school bus in the school (the exact time and fare are not clear). Take a taxi if you have more luggage.

5. It is not recommended to take a black car at airports, railway stations and passenger stations. Kunming is rampant in packet loss fraud. Due to the chaotic management of new construction in these places, it is recommended to take a taxi, which is relatively safe (at least 99.9% safety factor). At least I haven't heard of taxis cheating passengers. The taxi was robbed and kidnapped. At most, it won't bargain, just a little detour. Most drivers won't even know these two things.

6. I forgot to say that the most important thing is that the surrounding area of the new campus is similar to that of the new airport, but not much better. They are all in the wild, and there are several villages around. Walking in the dark for half a day at night probably won't meet anyone (if you don't find the right place to get lost).
