Why is Zionism the source of modern terrorism?
Terrorism is condemned all over the world. An important reason is that it coldly harms innocent people and treats civilians with brutal means indiscriminately. Since terrorism has been raging around the world, people are bound to discuss a question: Where does terrorism come from? This issue is somewhat sensitive. After the Charlie Hebdo massacre in France, politicians and media in most countries only mentioned terrorism, while a few countries and leaders bluntly pointed to Islam. Whether the window paper can be pierced or not, everyone actually understands this tacitly. In fact, long before Bin Laden became a global figure, many Western scholars, politicians, and media commentators had already pointed out that terrorism is closely related to Islamic fundamentalism, and Islamic fundamentalism is considered a hotbed of terrorism. This statement is very deceptive.
After the "Charlie Massacre", some media pointed out that Jews were one of the important targets of this serious terrorist attack in France. According to reports, the four hostages who died were all Jews. However, on the one hand, an Israeli newspaper condemned Islamic terrorism, and on the other hand, it published an article recalling the historical era when Judaism and Islam coexisted peacefully. From its name, it can be seen that fundamentalism advocates the revival of old traditions. In this case, why does Islamic fundamentalism not revive the tradition of peaceful coexistence with Judaism? In fact, Mohammed, the founder of Islam, had a good relationship with the Jews at the beginning of the religion. There were many Jews living around Medina, the holy land of Islam. So why doesn’t Islamic fundamentalism follow Muhammad’s code of conduct? The claim that terrorism originates from Islamic fundamentalism is questionable.
First of all, fundamentalism first appeared in American Protestantism around the time between the two world wars. One of its purposes at that time was to oppose Darwin. The fundamentalism of Protestant Christianity still has a great influence in American society. Christian fundamentalism, which originated in the United States, is theoretically opposed to modernism, liberalism, and secularism. This religious sentiment soon influenced other religions impacted by Western modernization, such as Judaism and Islam. Jewish fundamentalism and Islamic fundamentalism also emerged. Therefore, the origins of Islamic fundamentalism actually come from Western society. Tracing back to the source, if Islamic terrorism is inextricably linked to Islamic fundamentalism, then the conclusion can only be that terrorism originates from within Western civilization.
Secondly, Islamic terrorism began to appear around the 1970s. But the real source of terrorism predates that. In the 19th century, Zionists began to immigrate to Palestine. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Palestine area, formerly part of the Ottoman Empire, was placed under British mandate. Britain's support for Zionism turned cold and it implemented a "pro-Azhu-Jewish" policy. From then on, Jewish terrorism began to flourish. In 1937, the first full-time Jewish terrorist organization "Irgun" was established. Within two years, the terrorist attacks killed more than 3,000 Arabs and more than 100 British people. In 1944, Jewish terrorists assassinated the British Minister to the Middle East, and they even planned to assassinate Churchill. In July 1946, the Irgun exploded at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, the headquarters of the British Trusteeship, killing 91 people. In 1948, the "Irgun" caused the "Deir Yassin Massacre". Begin, the leader of the Irgun, later became the Prime Minister of Israel, and the Irgun is now called the Likud Group. Therefore, from the source of terrorism, Muslims were initially victims of Jewish terrorism.
Third, the Irish Communist Party and the Irish Army have long been regarded as terrorists. They believe in Catholicism and have nothing to do with Islam. The Basque separatists on the border between Spain and France have also caused many terrorist attacks, and they have nothing to do with Islam. Italy's "Red Brigades" are also the perpetrators of terrorist activities, and they have nothing to do with Islam. Therefore, terrorism is actually a product of Western civilization itself. What is now called Islamic terrorism is nothing more than the terrorism virus that grew within Western society and was transmitted to Islam. It does not necessarily mean that Islam will lead to terrorism.
Fourth, the so-called Islamic terrorism, such as ISIS, which has attracted special attention recently, has more in common with original European fascism in its ideas and methods.
When ISIS first appeared, someone was soliciting the Chinese translation of the organization on the Internet. I thought it could be called "Assis" to point out its relationship with fascism, but the mainstream media around the world would not accept such a name that would embarrass Western civilization. The long name "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" strengthens its Islamic characteristics, but it fails to conceal the fact that most of ISIS's core members come from Europe. In a "beheading" video circulated by ISIS not long ago, the murderer was identified by the British police because of his standard London accent. There are many ISIS members like this. Vague intelligence from Western countries says that thousands of people from ISIS have returned to Europe, including as far away as Australia, so they have escalated the level of terrorist attacks. These people come from the West. Many of them were born in the West and returned to the West. Their only common feature is their belief in Islam, but does this mean that their religious beliefs are necessarily related to terrorism? The entry of Muslims into Western society is not a recent thing. Why did Muslims who entered Western society in the past not become terrorists, but now many Muslims native to the West have become terrorists? Yanzi said: When oranges grow in the south, they become tangerines, and when they grow in the north, they become tangerines. The leaves are similar, but the actual taste is different because of the different water and soil. This statement is too correct to apply to the so-called Islamic terrorism. The "water and soil" of the West are the root cause of the mutation, and terrorism is the product of Western civilization itself.
So why is it deceptive to say that Islamic fundamentalism causes terrorism? Because it obscures the fact that fundamentalism originated in the United States, it also conceals the fact that terrorism continues within Western society, and uses a grafting technique to label terrorism as Islamic. This is not the first time the United States has done this. During Hoover's tenure as director of the FBI, the American underworld was rampant. Hoover, who had been the director of a democratic country for 48 years, initially did not admit that there was a mafia in the United States. Later, he had to admit it, but Hoover gave it a name, "Mafia." The purpose is to prove that the underworld in the United States is foreign, transplanted from Sicily, Italy, rather than being produced within the "great, glorious and correct" United States. If the underworld is generated within the United States, how can it reflect the advancement of the American system? Therefore, the underworld must be foreign, and the naming of "Mafia" is the key.
From this, we can understand the conclusion that "Islamic fundamentalism leads to terrorism". The purpose is also to show that terrorism is not endogenous to Western civilization, but is external and belongs to Western civilization. Despicable means created by the enemy. How could Western civilization be so advanced that terrorism could arise from within? However, terrorism is indeed a product of Western civilization. If Western civilization does not reflect on itself, deepen reforms and solve its own institutional problems, it will be difficult for them to eliminate the threat of terrorism.
