37-day self-driving Tibet Travel Notes "I": From Xi 'an to Yajiang

I have traveled in Xinjiang twice, once in southern Xinjiang and once in northern Xinjiang. The two trips lasted for more than three months. I feel that the taste of Xinjiang is very strong and deep. Tibet, on the other hand, makes me feel more aggressive and energetic. Although Xinjiang and Tibet are vast and gloomy, Xinjiang has a vast atmosphere, which reminds me of the glory of Han and Tang Dynasties. Tibet, on the other hand, makes me feel stronger and wilder, which can make me have irresistible worship and awe of nature.

We set out from Xi 'an on the morning of August 26th, 2020. My wife and I share a car. Because this is our first trip to Tibet, we have prepared a lot of things. On the Internet, I saw that there were frequent traffic jams on the 3 18 National Road, so I specially prepared a lot of dry stone cakes. Thanks to preparation, many problems were solved on the road behind.

On the first night, I rested in Guangyuan, Sichuan, and stayed at Guangzhou Road, Guangyuan Nanhe Bus Station and Home Inn. Accommodation conditions and service attitude are very general. It's still very hot. In the evening, we took a walk by the south river next to the hotel. There are many people sitting on the steps of the south river to enjoy the cool. Guangyuan city is not big, and people are very leisurely.

The next day, I went to Ya 'an and stayed at Ya 'an high-speed railway station Store. I think it is one of the best stores in all aspects of Home Inn.

Depart from Ya 'an and enter Yaya Expressway. This is the second time I have walked on Yaya Expressway. The first time I went to Daocheng Aden was 2065438+April 2008. At that time, it was called Yakang Expressway, but it was cut off at Luding Road. We went down to Luding, and then from Luding to Kangding.

Driving on Yaye Expressway, approaching Luding, I met the Dadu River Bridge in Luding. 20 18 10 of Luding Daduhe Bridge was completed, and 20 18 12 3 1 was completed and opened to traffic. It is a super-long-span steel truss suspension bridge built in high altitude, high seismic intensity area and complex wind and temperature fields. The total length of the bridge is 14 1 1 m, the main span is 1 100 m, and the bridge deck is 239 m above the water surface of the Dadu River, so it is known as the "first bridge in Sichuan and Tibet". Luding Dadu River Bridge is located on the Dadu River in Luding County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is one of the key control projects of "one bridge and one tunnel" on Ya 'an-Kangding Expressway. It is extremely difficult to build this bridge on the western Sichuan Plateau with steep terrain and harsh natural conditions. Bridge builders have adopted a large number of innovative designs and initiated many technical indicators. At the 36th International Bridge Conference held in Maryland, USA, Sichuan Yakang Expressway Luding Dadu River Bridge won Gustav? Lin Dengshao's gold medal is known as the "Nobel Prize" in the bridge industry. It crosses the Sichuan-Tibet line, and each pier is Ran Ran-style against the unique blue sky, white clouds and bright sunshine on the plateau. Standing on the majestic Grand Canyon, this bridge has become a landmark on the "Sichuan-Tibet Line". "Think in the distance, clear the way on every mountain, and bridge the bridge in case of water; The Buddha meets mountains and seas, with beautiful scenery and a bridge to see Sichuan. "

Not far away, it enters Erlangshan Tunnel of Yaya Expressway, also known as the New Erlangshan Tunnel, with a total length of 13.4 km. It is the control project of Yakang Expressway, and it is also the fourth longest tunnel in the expressway under construction and opening to traffic in China, and is known as the first tunnel in Sichuan and Tibet.

After the opening of the Erlangshan extra-long tunnel on Yakang Expressway, it only takes 15 minutes to cross the towering Erlangshan. Erlangshan Tunnel connects Ya 'an and Kangding with a total length of13.4km.. In the middle of the tunnel, 80,000 LED lights illuminate the top of the tunnel, and five-star red flags, red leaves, blue sky and starry sky appear alternately, making people seem to enter just visiting, instantly alleviating the fatigue of long-term driving. ...

I originally planned to live in Kangding in the third grade. Kangding is 2580 meters above sea level. Depart from Ya 'an in the morning, take Yaya Expressway and arrive in Kangding before 1 1. We temporarily decided to go to Yajiang County, the next stop, to have a rest.

In Kangding county, I was going to have a rest, but the streets in Kangding county were relatively narrow, and many large trucks stopped at a relatively wide place on the 3 18 national road. I didn't find a suitable parking area and drove Kangding directly.

Head-on is Zheduo Mountain, the first level of Kangba. Zheduo Mountain Pass is 35 kilometers away from Kangding County, with a viewing platform at an altitude of 4,298 meters. National Highway 365,438+08 climbs the Panshan Mountain, with two lanes and a cliff on one side. The wind is very strong, and there are many carts coming and going. I drive very slowly. The wind is stronger at the top of the mountain. Because we went to Daocheng Aden twice the year before last, I didn't stop this time. I looked out of the car on the observation deck. The parking lot is full of cars, and many tourists go up and down on the observation deck.

Drive all the way from Zheduo Mountain observation deck to the foot of the mountain, about 10 km to the border of xinduqiao. It turns out that when passing through xinduqiao, xinduqiao and Shili Gallery are full of beautiful scenery, with flowing bridges, flowing grasslands and yak snow-capped mountains. Unfortunately, this time we are building a road through xinduqiao, and the road is dusty, and we happened to meet a big traffic jam in Muyashengdi Scenic Area. This scenic spot is best not to go, you know.

It was blocked for more than 2 hours in Muya Shengji Scenic Area. We sat in the car while eating, watching a group of people get off the car in front and dance in the square dance, until they were tired of dancing, and then got into the car to have a rest. Just then, the team moved slowly.

Starting from xinduqiao, due to traffic jam, we had some lunch in the car, and then crossed Gaoersi Mountain (elevation 4412m) to reach Yajiang County. It's past 5: 00 in the afternoon, and we're staying at Yajiang Silver Carp Business Hotel next to National Highway 3 18. We can't eat spicy food, so we ordered a fish with pickled vegetables and a vegetarian dish in the hotel, which was very large and delicious.

After dinner, the two of us just left the hotel gate. A brown puppy called us a few times with milk and turned and got into a nearby Tibetan residence. Seen from the outside, this Tibetan residence is very distinctive. There are many flowers and plants planted by the roadside at the entrance of the courtyard. There is a vine outside the door, which bears many green grapes.

There is a self-driving camp hotel opposite the hotel, and the flowers in Ge Sang are particularly lush.

The two of us went down to the valley opposite the hotel, next to a steel bridge and a local vegetable garden. Yajiang is 2640 meters above sea level. It is very comfortable to live here, so don't worry about high opposition.

This trip is basically in the plateau area. In the early stage, it is mainly to adapt and try to live in a lower place.

Here I'll talk about a few important points first, and then I'll describe more points in my travel notes.

① Bring some dry cakes and instant noodles that can be stored with the car, and bring enough hot water every trip. ② Try not to take a bath when entering Tibet for the first time. If you take a shower, don't leave the hotel room with wet hair. (3) Fill it up every time you meet a gas station, especially 95 # gasoline. Be sure to wear anti-ultraviolet glasses.
