According to their guidelines, you can find the exit through the most convenient route, whether in the corridor, restaurant or conference room. In a big room in a public office, this sign is usually above the door, indicating going out from here; In the corridor, it is usually under the wall, because in case of fire, toxic gas is on it, so people should bend over or crawl forward, and the sign is set at a height of tens of centimeters from the ground, which is just convenient to see.

Third, the opening direction of the evacuation door is particular.

In hotel buildings that meet the requirements of the code, the maximum distance between the room door and the external exit or stairwell will be controlled within a certain range, such as high-rise hotel buildings (height greater than 24 meters), and the maximum distance between the room door and the nearest stairwell is 30 meters (room between two safety exits) and 15 meters (room at both sides or at the end of bag-like corridor). The door on the way to evacuation and the door on the stairwell are the directions for escape and evacuation. As long as you apply force outward, you can easily open it without wasting time
