RP hosts the fourth international educational television forum.

The Philippines will hold the 4th International Educational Television Environmental Technology Forum and the International Verification Working Group Meeting from1October1Sunday to 13 at Renaissance Makati Hotel. This country is the first ASEAN member to hold this grand event.

The theme of this activity is "Educational TV: Accelerating Technology to Solve Climate Change". This forum is a place to share educational TV programs about different countries and exchange experiences on how to verify the performance of environmental protection technologies to help solve climate change problems. Participating in the meeting include countries that are developing educational TV programs.

Forum participants will outline the main challenges of climate change at the regional level, identify procedures and innovative technologies to mitigate and adapt to climate change, and emphasize the importance of educational television as a tool to accelerate the deployment of environmentally sound technologies; Establish a national alliance to participate in data and internationally recognized educational television; And make action plans for participants interested in future cooperation.

In the plenary session, the theme/general debate included "The importance of independent environmental performance verification and reporting" and "Mechanisms to bridge the gap between technology transfer and funds in addressing climate change".

At the same time, the round-table discussion based on this theme will involve "alleviating the limit, creating a better future climate change, preparing for adapting to climate change, and international cooperation on the same issue". These meetings will be supplemented by national case studies on educational television.
