Speaking of the most concerned new buildings in Shanghai in recent years, Tianan Qianshu, located on the Suzhou River, must be on the list. Seen from a distance, this building is like a lush mountain range, rising from the ground in this metropolis, just like the reappearance of ancient hanging gardens. The design of this project was inspired by Huangshan Mountain in China, where trees were born from cracks in rocks.

This urban oasis will integrate retail, hotel, business, office and other formats, and perfectly integrate with the scenery along the Suzhou Creek to create a unique ecological and cultural experience. There is nothing better than the stepped hanging garden in the north of the project. Hundreds of structural columns are scattered, and a flower bed extends above each column, where lush green plants are distributed. How to put such an imaginative design into practice? Some materials originally designed by designers are rarely used in China.

After fully understanding the designer's standards and requirements, the Libby team found professional contractors and material suppliers, and tested a variety of construction methods and materials, hoping to find a practical solution that meets both the architect's vision and the customer's budget.
