What grade is Ibis?

Ibis Hotel is a three-star hotel as well as a budget hotel. It is the first international brand economy hotel chain in northwest China managed by the world-famous Accor International Hotel Management Company.

Economy hotels are not cheap hotels. Low investment and low operating cost is one of the characteristics of budget hotels, but it is not the essence or the absolute purpose.

The essence of budget hotels is low burden and quick return, which makes the general scale and business orientation of budget hotels relatively limited.

History of Ibis Hotel

After the Novotel brand was founded, Ibis, founded by Accor founders paul dubrule and Gerard Pearson, became the second largest hotel chain brand of Accor Group. 1974 When Ibis was first launched, there were no modern economical hotel chains in the market, only some hotels with incomplete equipment provided rooms for the guests in this market.

At that time, Ibis set itself such a goal: the room price is 30% lower than the average price in the local market, and set quality standards to ensure stable accommodation and service quality and create huge economic benefits for guests.

1974, Ibis opened its first hotel in Bordeaux, France. By the time Ibis opened in Paris in 1976, there were already 14 hotels in the whole hotel network.
