How old can I get a room?

Legal analysis: If you have an ID card, you need to be over 16 years old. Even if 18 years old, you can still check in. However, if it is 16 years old, you can't open a room alone and need a guardian or relative to accompany you. Hotels with standardized management are generally forbidden to open rooms for people under the age of 18.

Legal basis: According to Article 56 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Public Security Administration Punishment, hotel staff who fail to register the names, types and numbers of the staying passengers, or who knowingly fail to stop dangerous goods from being brought into the hotel will be fined between 200 yuan and 500 yuan.
