On March 28, 2012, the awarding ceremony for the MPAcc course of Renmin University of China that passed the accreditation of the Hong Kong Accounting Society was held at the Hairun Ariva Hotel in Beijing. Zhi Xiaoqiang, deputy dean of the Business School, Song Jianbo, director of the MPAcc Project Center, Wang Huacheng, secretary-general of the National Accounting Master's Degree Education Steering Committee, Bao Kai, president of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Wang Xifeng, executive director of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Education and Training Department of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants Deputy Director You Shuying, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance and Finance Wang Jianying of the Business School and other guests attended the ceremony.

Bao Kai, President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, said that the Institute is very pleased that Renmin University of China was invited and successfully passed the review. This marks the quality of the accounting courses at Renmin University of China in terms of content, teachers, teaching resources, and student standards. In all aspects, they have reached the international level. The Association will also provide scholarships to students in the MPAcc program of Renmin University of China every year, and looks forward to the MPAcc graduates of Renmin University of China to join this cross-border team of accounting professionals with high flexibility in job mobility.
