One morning, he boarded the train to the seaside, and an hour later, the train stopped in a small town by the sea. When he left the station a few minutes later, he saw a small hotel and went in.

He asked his boss how much it would cost to stay for one night.

"Fifteen dollars," the boss replied.

"I can't afford this price." Li Lei said sadly.

"All right," the boss replied. "If you make your own bed, you can only pay ten dollars.

Li Lei is very happy because he always makes his own bed at home. "All right," he said, "I will."

The boss walked into the back of a room and brought some things back with Li Lei. "Here you are," he said, giving him a hammer and some nails.
