Which province is Chifeng?

Chifeng belongs to Inner Mongolia. Chifeng City is one of the nine prefecture-level cities in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in Songshan District. Chifeng means Hongshan, and the Mongolian word "Ulan Hada" is named after the ochre mountain peak in the northeast of the city. Chifeng City was originally Zhaowuda League, which is Mongolian and Chinese means "Bai Liu".

Located in the southeast of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, at the junction of Mongolia, Hebei and Liaoning provinces, it borders Chaoyang City of Liaoning Province in the southeast, Chengde City of Hebei Province in the southwest, Tongliao City of Inner Mongolia in the east and Xilin Gol League of Inner Mongolia in the northwest.
