Moon Lake is located in Alashan Zuo Qi, Alashan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Alashan Zuo Qi is high in the southeast and low in the northwest, with an average elevation of 800 ~ 1500m and the highest elevation of 3556m.
