According to the French website, checking in at the hotel is equivalent to establishing a contractual relationship between the guest and the hotel. The hotel provides rooms with the same conditions according to the requirements of online or telephone booking, and the guests check in immediately, which means that the contract between the two parties takes effect. A contract legally established in accordance with Article 502 of the General Principles of Civil Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) shall take effect immediately, except as otherwise provided by law or agreed by the parties. Therefore, it is very reasonable to charge an appropriate fee for hotel check-out.
