When there are traffic restrictions, large vehicles will choose the northern route, which also goes along Dingqu Road to Zhongtian Xin County, then turns north, passes through Daqilian Village and Qiliantun Village, then goes to the 107 National Highway, and finally along the National Highway 107 reaches the end of the International Hotel.

Because of this, Dingqu Road is constantly crowded with large vehicles all day long, and the road surface is crisscrossed by crushed ravines and dilapidated. Of course, now that the Southwest Outer Ring Road of Dingzhou is open to traffic, large vehicles traveling through Dingzhou have more choices. The opening of this route will improve the road grid layout of Dingzhou City and reduce the traffic pressure on Dingqu Road. It also creates opportunities for the maintenance of Dingqu Road.

When I posted an article earlier, some readers commented that it would take more than 20 miles to travel more if you choose the southern route, so I came up with today’s Baidu distance measurement. It turns out that the southern route is only 1.4 kilometers longer than the central route. This is no big deal for a big car. Moreover, if you choose the southern route, the population density will be small, traffic pressure will be small, and the road surface will be smooth, at least for the time being.

Regarding the renovation work of Dingqu Road, a reporter from the Dingzhou Station of Yanzhao Metropolis Daily consulted the relevant departments in Dingzhou on this matter, but they did not receive a clear answer, so we can only look forward to it.

Finally, I cannot favor one over the other. I recommend two routes for small cars to go around Dingqu Road. Of course, they are only convenient for going to Baoding. If you want to go to Anguo, you can choose the southern route for large cars.
