The story outline of inception

Cobb (the hero) is a professional dream thief. He can sneak into other people's dreams and steal information. But there is an insurmountable obstacle in his heart, which often hinders his actions in his dreams. It was a memory of his dead wife. Cobb was forced into exile because he was mistaken for killing his wife, and stole dreams for a living.

During a dream-stealing mission against energy tycoon Qi Teng, Cobb's team was caught by Qi Teng and threatened. On the condition of removing Cobb's accusation, Qi Teng asked Cobb to perform a special dream stealing task against his competitors-not simply stealing ideas, but implanting them into the target characters in his dreams. Cobb was anxious to go home, so he agreed.

Cobb and his old partner Arthur reorganized the team and recruited new dream designer Ali, pharmacist Yusef and dream actor Yi Musi. After detailed planning, Inception team finally decided to attack the target (Little Fisher) in the longest flight in the world.

There are several layers of dreams in the mission, and the dreamer goes deeper and deeper, while resisting the resistance of the armed forces of Little Fisher's subconscious. In the end, Kobuk overcame his wife's psychological barrier in the subconscious, escaped the danger of being lost in dreams forever, and got lost in Qi Teng from the edge of the subconscious.

Finally, everyone was surprised to complete the implantation task, and everyone woke up and returned to the flight. Qi Teng kept his promise and Cobb was able to go home and reunite with his two children. However, the warm reunion scene at the end of the film is hinted that it may happen in a dream, and Cobb still doesn't wake up. This is an open ending.

Introduction to the initial role of extended information:

Dom Cobb (Actor? Leonardo DiCaprio)

The first hero, who steals ideas from other people's dreams, is the leader of these dream thieves. Cobb's rare skills made him a coveted target among corporate spies, and also made him lose his relatives and become an international fugitive.

Now, Cobb has a chance to atone, as long as he can complete an impossible task. Different from the past, Cobb and his team's task this time is not to steal ideas, but to implant them.

"Sentinel" Arthur (actor? Joseph Gordon Levitt)

Dom Cobb's assistant is on sentry duty at the front line, while Dom Cobb's old partner is responsible for the preparatory work such as early data collection and information inquiry, and is also responsible for helping Cobb clean up all kinds of unexpected difficulties in his dreams.

"Dreamer" Adrian (actor? Alain Page)

Dom Cobb's assistant designs buildings in his dreams. Responsible for building the general environmental framework of dreams at all levels (but be sure to avoid using memory to build areas), so that the target people will believe that they are in their own dreams after entering this dream.

After an architect creates a dream on a certain floor, he can only give it to the dreamer of that floor, so as to avoid the subconscious confusion caused by others being too familiar with the dream. The dreamer can modify the details of the dream environment locally.

"The Pretender" Yi Musi (actor? Tom Hardy)

Dom Cobb's assistant can pretend to be any shape in his dreams. Be responsible for pretending to be a special person (usually someone close to the target person) in dreams to better influence the target person from the subconscious level.

"Phantom of the Opera" Mel (actor? Marion cotillard)

Dom Cobb's dead wife, female number one, wants Dom Cobb to stay in the dream space, which has been disturbing Dom Cobb's plans, but she just wants to stay in the dream space with Dom Cobb.

I once studied dreams with Cobb and became a pioneer in the lost domain. Because Cobb is deeply guilty of his wife's death, Mel in his subconscious will occasionally appear in his dreams and interfere with his actions.

"Target" Fisher (actor? Cillian Murphy)

Dom Cobb's team's goal has always been to destroy his father's business, and his relationship with his father is very bad. Later, in his will, it was stated that Fisher would not get an inheritance because his father wanted him to start his own business.

This action is to "implant" an idea in the hearts of the rich second generation who are about to inherit the family business. The target person will have obvious subconscious defense after entering the dream.

"tycoon" Saito (actor? Ken Watanabe)

Dom Cobb is in danger of being killed because of the failure of his dream theft plan. Saito confessed that he instilled in Fisher the idea of destroying his father's business, which was the head of the plan.

It is this rich and powerful man who used the temptation of "letting you go home and reunite with your children" to let Cobb organize a team and launch the "implantation" action. In order to supervise the success or failure of the operation, Saito also entered the dream together without any responsibility.
