Red-billed blue magpie

About three years ago, I first saw the red-billed blue magpie in the community. After that, there are more and more red-billed blue magpies in the city, which can be seen in some parks and other places with good environment. We were all very surprised when we first met the red-billed blue magpie. This big bird with blue feathers and long tail is so conspicuous, so special, and its appearance is quite attractive. It is a star bird in the community. Now, they have become permanent residents of the community, and like the egrets by the river, they settle down here.

Red-billed blue magpies in the community usually haunt in pairs, chasing each other on the treetops. Because of its large size, it stands out as soon as it appears. Once I saw a blue magpie with a red mouth bathing in the stagnant water on the ground, all wet and splashing from time to time. Once again, I saw the red-billed blue magpie hanging something suspected of being a mouse on a branch and eating it slowly. According to the data, this bird usually preys on insects, but it also eats chicks and eggs of other birds and catches snakes. Rats may be one of their food.

I hope there will be more such birds in the community in the future, which indicates that the natural environment around us is getting better and better.
