Guangzhou to Shaoguan Danxia Mountain for two people to travel freely for 3 days, what is the most practical arrangement? Approximately how much it will cost (mid-October 2013: travel expenses, food, accommodation, etc.)

The high-speed train from Guangzhou to Shaoguan costs 104.5 yuan and the ordinary train costs 38 yuan. From Shaoguan High-speed Railway Station, you can take bus 22 directly to the East Railway Station. The fare is 2 yuan. There is a direct train to Renhua Danxia Mountain in the square, which is like 20 people.

If it is an ordinary train, get off at Shaoguan East Station, exit the station square and find the bus to Renhua Danxia Mountain.

Danxia tickets are now 120 yuan per person, and Shaoguan local ID cards are 30 yuan per person. You can stay one night outside the gate of Danxia Mountain, or go to Yangyuan Mountain. Accommodation may be a bit more expensive during National Day, with standard rooms usually costing around 100.

Personal suggestion:

In the afternoon of D1, we rushed to Danxia Mountain from Guangzhou, found a place to stay at the foot of Yangyuan Mountain, put down our rituals and climbed Yangyuan Mountain. It is best to bring a flashlight, and if you go quickly, you will need it for the whole journey. Two or three hours. Don’t worry about food, there are plenty of restaurants, and there will also be stalls selling sweet potatoes, peanuts, eggs, etc. on the road. Go to bed early at night and get up at 4 o'clock the next day to go up to Elder Peak to watch the sunrise.

D2 Get up before 4 o'clock and go to Elder Peak to watch the sunrise (there is a scenic bus to Elder Peak in Yangyuan Mountain). It takes at least an hour to go up the mountain. After watching the sunrise, we walked down the mountain in the direction of Yin Yuanshi. Play while walking. In the evening, we will go back to Shaoguan City to stay one night, stroll around Shaoguan Pedestrian Street and see Fengcai Building. Accommodation in Shaoguan city is not expensive. There are many chain hotels on Jiefang Road for 100-200 per night.

D3 Go to Nanhua Temple early in the morning, spend one morning and one afternoon, and return to Guangzhou in the afternoon. However, we locals like Yunmen Temple more. In Yunmen Temple, you can climb the back mountain and see the Osmanthus Lake Waterfall.

There is a bus from the train station directly to Nanhua Temple. It costs 5 yuan per person and can be reached in more than half an hour. The ticket to Nanhua Temple is 20 yuan. If you want to go to Yunmen Temple, then go to Shaoguan West Bus Station to Ruyuan, 10 yuan. Take a taxi from Ruyuan Station to Yunmen Temple, the fare is about 20 yuan, and the entrance fee to Yunmen Temple is 5 yuan. You can take the bus when you return, it costs 2 yuan per person.

Except for accommodation and Danxia tickets, the whole trip doesn’t cost much.
