A comparative study of economic system, international political economy, European economic integration and international development. He has taught more than ten courses for graduate students majoring in international relations and MBA.

Main scientific research work:

In the past five years, he has published 20 academic articles and 2 personal academic monographs in CSSCI core journals such as European Studies, German Studies, Russian Studies, Contemporary World Socialism and Journal of East China Normal University, among which he won the third prize of Shanghai Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences 1 Department, and edited the academic monograph 1 Department. At present, it undertakes national social science fund, major projects of Ministry of Education base, innovative projects of Shanghai Education Commission, and 4 projects entrusted by China Development Bank.

Social part-time jobs and others:

Dean of Shanghai Institute of International Relations, Director of Shanghai Russian Institute of Central and Eastern European Relations, and Special Senior Consultant of China Development Bank. In the past three years, I have written a considerable number of decision-making consultation reports for relevant national decision-making departments, which have been commended by the National Social Science Fund. While engaged in teaching and scientific research, Professor Yu Nanping is also a special commentator of Shanghai First Financial Channel, a special guest of Shanghai TV News Comprehensive Channel, a special guest of Shanghai People's Broadcasting Station's "Citizen and Society", a special guest of Hong Kong Phoenix TV and a special guest of Yunnan TV's "New Vision". He also served as a lecturer in Shanghai Library Forum, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences information conference and other forums, providing consulting services for large enterprises such as Baosteel and COSCO.
