"Yuan History" Volume 59 Chapter 11 (2)

Dongning Road is the original city of Pyongyang, also known as Chang'an City. When the Han Dynasty destroyed Korea, it established Lelang and Xuantu counties. This is Lelang land. After Jin Yixi, his king Gaolian first lived in Pyongyang City. During the Tang Dynasty, when Goryeo was conquered and Pyongyang was overthrown, the country moved eastward and was located more than a thousand miles southeast of the Yalu River, which was no longer the same as Pyongyang. By the time of Wang Jian, Pyongyang was regarded as Xijing. From the Yuan Dynasty to the sixth year of the Yuan Dynasty, Li Yanling, Cui Yuan, Xuan Yuanlie and others returned from sixty cities in Fuzhou counties and towns. In the eighth year, Xijing was renamed Dongning Prefecture. In the 13th year, he was promoted to the General Manager's Office of Dongning Road, set up a Recording Department, and divided Jingzhou, Yizhou, Linzhou and Weiyuan towns into Posuo Mansion. This road led the first division, but Yucheng was abandoned and there was no division. Now I only keep the old name.

Since the Tang Dynasty, when the territory entered Korea, more than 60 cities in prefectures, counties and towns were established. This is the Duhufu. Although it still has the old name of the Tang Dynasty, it does not have the actual status of a Duhufu. In the sixth year of the Yuan Dynasty, Li Yanling and others returned to this place. The city was destroyed after the city was destroyed, and only its name remained, which belonged to Dongning Road.

Shenyang Road is the hometown of Ben Yilou. The Bohai clan built Dingli Mansion and the governor of Shen and Ding states. This is the place of Shenzhou. The Khitan army was the Xingliao army, and the Jin army was the Zhaode army, and the German army was even more powerful. Later, they were all destroyed by fire. In the early Yuan Dynasty, when Liaodong was pacified, Hong Fuyuan, the leader of the Shenqi Commandery of Linzhou in the Koryo Kingdom, led more than forty cities from Xijing, Duhu, and Guizhou to surrender. Each established a garrison department and appointed officials to appease its people. Later, when Goryeo rebelled, Hong Fuyuan brought people back, granted Goryeo soldiers and civilians ten thousand households, and settled the settlers in Shenzhou, Liaoyang. In the second year of Zhongtong's reign, it was changed to the General Administration of Military and Civilian Affairs to pacify Goryeo. After the whole country of Goryeo was attached to the country, in four years, he appointed Zhizi Chun as the general manager to appease the army and people of Goryeo, and was assigned more than 2,000 households to manage Shenzhou. In the second year of Yuanzhen, the two divisions were merged to pacify the Goryeo military and civilian general administration office in Shenyang and other roads, and still governed the old city of Liaoyang, with jurisdiction over five generals, twenty-four thousand households, and twenty-five hundred households. (The number of grain households in Shunqian is 5,183.)

Kaiyuan Road, the ancient Sushen place, was called Heishui Mohe in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. In the early Tang Dynasty, Agu Lang, the leader of the canal, first came to the court, and later surrendered. He named the land Yanzhou and built Heishui Prefecture. Afterwards, the Bohai Sea prospered, and Mohe all served under it. Later, the Bohai Sea weakened and was attacked by the Khitan. The Black Water regained control of its territory, bordering the sea to the east, Korea to the south, and the Khitan to the northwest. This was the tribe of the originator of the Jin Dynasty. The first name was Jurchen, but later the name was changed to Nvzhi to avoid the taboo of Liao Xingzong. After Taizu Wugu destroyed Liao, he went to Beijing to establish the capital. Hailing moved the capital to Yan and changed it to Huining Prefecture. At the end of the Jin Dynasty, he captured Pu Xian and thousands of slaves in Liaodong. At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, at the age of Guisi, he sent out an army to attack the enemy and gave birth to tens of thousands of slaves. When the army arrived at Kaiyuan, he led his guests and found peace in the east. The name Kaiyuan first appeared here. When Yi was still young, he established Kaiyuan and Nanjing 20,000-household mansions and governed Huanglong mansion. In the fourth year of the Yuan Dynasty, he changed the office of the general manager of Liaodong Road. In the 23rd year, it was changed to Kaiyuan Road and led to Xianping Prefecture. Later, Xianping was divided into Sanfu, and both were under the Xuanwei Division of Liaodong Road. (The number of grain households in Shunshun is 4,367.)

Xianping Prefecture, the land of ancient Korea, was sealed by Jizi. It belonged to Lelang County in the Han Dynasty and was invaded by Korea later. The Tang Dynasty destroyed Goryeo and established the Andong Protectorate to rule it, and then it was occupied by the Bohai clan. Liaoping and Bohai, because of its many dangerous passes, built a city to house the refugees. It was named Xianzhou Andong Army, and the leading county was named Xianping. Jin was promoted to Xianping Prefecture and took over the six counties of Pingguo, Andong, Xinxing, Qingyun, Qing'an and Quy Nhon. They were all destroyed in the war. In the early Yuan Dynasty, it was assigned to Kaiyuan Road, and later it was cut off and assigned to Liaodong Xuanwei Division.

Helan Prefecture, Shui Dada and other roads, has vast land and scattered people. At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, the fifth military and civilian government house was established, located in the north of Fu Town. One is called Taowen, which is four thousand miles away from Shangdu. One day, Huli Gai was located 4,200 miles away from Xanadu and 3,800 miles away from Dadu. (There are Huli rivers that merge with Tongjiang rivers, and there are Helan rivers that flow into the sea.) One is called Weduolian. One is to take off the goodwill. One is called Bokujiang. Each has its own department, and each has its own territory, which is mixed in the north and south of the Yangtze River.

The residents there are all people with abundant water and straight women. They all still follow the customs. They have no market or city walls. They live in water and grass and take hunting as their occupation. Therefore, officials and herdsmen were set up to govern according to the customs. There were roads such as Helan Prefecture, Shui Dada, etc., under the supervision of the prime minister. (There is a handsome bird called Haidongqing, who flew from overseas and arrived at Nuerqian. The natives paid him tribute as a native tribute. The number of money and grain households reached 20,960.)
