Why is ASEAN headquarters in Nanning?

Nanning is only the permanent venue of the ASEAN Expo, and the headquarters of ASEAN is in Jakarta, Indonesia. Good geographical location and convenient land and sea transportation lines make Nanning a permanent venue for the China-ASEAN Expo, which has been held for 14 times.

Combine economic and trade activities with cultural exchanges. At the same time, during the Expo, activities such as "Southeast Asia Customs" party, "Nanning International Folk Song Art Festival" opening party, "China Love" party, Golf Masters, "Friends of Tennis" Masters, Fashion Festival, Food Festival and so on were also held, and colorful cultural and sports activities were interspersed among them.

Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center

Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center (hereinafter referred to as "Convention and Exhibition Center") is located in Qingxiu District, Nanning City, with an area of about 6 15 mu and a construction area of about 640,000 square meters. It is a landmark building in Nanning and has been the permanent venue for the China-ASEAN Expo since 2004.

At present, the Convention and Exhibition Center consists of the accreditation hall and business center in Area A (East Wing), Jingui Flower Hall, news center and exhibition hall in Area B (East Wing), administrative complex building in Area C (Wing), exhibition hall and conference center in Area D (Front Wing), exhibition hall in Area E (Middle Wing), exhibition building in Area F (Tail Wing), Howard Johnson Nanning Convention and Exhibition Hotel and Area G.

There are two large multifunctional halls (namely Jingui Flower Hall and Zhujin Flower Hall), 18 exhibition halls with different specifications (the largest exhibition hall 158 10 square meter, the smallest exhibition hall 2 160 square meter) and 18 conference halls (rooms) with different specifications. The indoor exhibition area is 92,000 square meters, and 5,529 international standard booths can be built. In addition, there are 3,555 underground parking spaces and 272 ground parking spaces.
