The winter in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai is actually very cold, and the absolute temperature is not very low, but even many northern men who are new here are not used to it. Therefore, how to provide heating for new decoration is an important topic.

Why not choose floor heating?

Warm air is relatively light, so it will accumulate in the upper space of the room, so the effect of warm air conditioning can not be compared with that of heating, so don't consider it. As an area without national central heating, floor heating is the choice of many newly renovated families. After doing some market research, I think there are several problems with floor heating.

First, the laying and maintenance are troublesome. Although the existing floor can be removed without damage, it is a risk after all. How can a product be trouble-free The difference is only probability and maintenance cost. Do you want to tear down all the floors of the whole house during maintenance?

The floor heating on the second floor is too slow to raise the indoor temperature, which is ineffective for most of the day, resulting in long working hours (basically not turned off all winter). For us who are not at home during the day, the utilization efficiency is not high.

So is there a suitable substitute? I chose the radiator. I saw it at a local friend's house at first, and it felt very effective and the appearance was not abrupt. Europe b&; I saw it when I traveled abroad in autumn and winter; B or hotels, almost 100% use radiators instead of floor heating. Gas heating was invented in Europe, and they have a long history of use, so it certainly makes sense to use radiators in most cases.

After research, I learned that the back end of the radiator uses a small boiler like the floor heating, but the difference is that the floor heating is laid under the floor and the heat is conducted through the floor. The radiator is directly hung on the wall to dissipate heat. Obviously, the heat dissipation effect of radiator is more direct. It was measured that the radiator began to dissipate heat 5 minutes after it was completely turned on, and the room temperature began to rise around 15 minutes. The final effect, of course, is related to the size of the room and the location of the radiator. In the case of low room temperature, the room temperature can be increased by 5-6 degrees Celsius in about 2 hours. If it is a partially enclosed space, such as a bedroom, the temperature will rise faster.

The advantage of this is that you can turn off the radiator during the day and turn it on at home at night, which will soon achieve the effect of a basic greenhouse. Then there is no doubt that the boiler will not be in a continuous working state for 24 hours and 24 months, saving gas and money and reducing losses. On the other hand, the radiator is surface mounted, and only the water pipe enters the wall. As long as the water pipe does not leak (this part is very mature, and the failure probability is extremely low), even if there is an accident in the radiator, it can be repaired directly.

Specific radiator system composition

The first is the choice of boiler, the technical term is called wall-hung boiler. In this respect, German products rank first in the world and have a long history of production and use. Surprisingly, Turkey is also a strong market participant. I checked the comparison data of websites, and the basic conclusion is the same. The best wall-hung boiler brand that can be bought in the domestic local market is German Weineng Weineng, which has a development history of 140 years. It is the leading manufacturer of heating/domestic hot water/ventilation and air conditioning equipment in Europe and the largest domestic gas-fired wall-hung boiler manufacturer. Wall-hung boilers are divided into power specifications, imported and domestic, and condensing boilers (that is, the flue is equipped with a heat recovery device to recover the heat contained in the discharged waste gas for use), and of course the prices are also different. My home is 2 bedrooms and 2 living rooms 1 bathroom, with an area of 80 square meters. Selling 18KW (equivalent to 14L water heater) is enough, and there is no need to buy 24KW. Finally, the domestic 18KW non-condensing furnace was selected, and the price of 1W was less than that. The wall-hung boiler is guaranteed for 2 years. The installation master said that Weineng had installed 15 years, and it was almost unbroken. Basically, it is maintained and replaced once every 2-3 years (the service fee is around 500 yuan), which is very stable.

The current household wall-hung boiler is actually not big, and it looks like a large household water heater. The mainstream products are domestic water and heating water, that is, there are two sets of temperature control devices and two independent water pipe loops in the wall-hung boiler, which correspond to domestic water and heating water respectively, and have little influence on each other (rarely used for a long time at the same time).

It works the same as a water heater. This is also burning natural gas or gas, and the flue discharges waste gas, which is similar to forced discharge. Unexpectedly, the quality of Weinengjia's pipe is very good. It is not an ordinary hose like a water heater, but an aluminum tube wrapped around the hose, similar to the picture below. After inspection, the material is high-pressure cast aluminum, and the sealing ring is high-temperature resistant silicone sealing ring. This is of course durable, but when designing the flue route, it should be noted that this can't be bent, and it is completely connected by several elbows. The installation master said that before and after adding an elbow, it will increase by nearly 1 meter, and the wall-hung boiler with a total flue length of more than 5 meters may not work normally. If you put the wall-hung boiler in the kitchen like me, remember to explore ahead of time. In addition, the flue in my house is from the kitchen to the outside through the top of the bathroom. This hard pipe directly reduces the available height of the bathroom by about 25CM!

The radiator of the wall-hung boiler comes out of the water and is a special pipe connected to the designated position of the room. The white picture below shows that all the water enters and exits to form a loop, which will be installed at the same time when laying water pipes at home.

The wall-hung boiler can be installed after the tiles are roughly pasted, and then the workers will connect the water pipe with the water pressure gauge, add the water pressure to 0.8MPa, and observe that there is no obvious pressure drop for more than 72 hours (the change of air pressure at room temperature will slightly affect the water pressure value), indicating that there is no water leakage in the water pipe. I simply observed it for a week, and the deviation was really small, always above 0.72.

Selection of radiator

In fact, Weineng only produces and sells wall-hung boilers and flues, and other accessories are made by domestic companies themselves. The so-called radiator power is actually branded. The industry basically only uses relatively mature imported products, so almost no big problems have been heard.

The sales suggestion is to use the radiator brand Fortius imported from Germany. We looked it up on the Internet, and the factory is in Turkey (a strong manufacturing country in the field of heating and ventilation), which specializes in radiators and has a good reputation. All-copper water separator and pipeline are Kalambo, Germany.

The specific number of radiators is to calculate the required calorific value according to the area, and then calculate the required radiator size. The heat dissipation of the radiator can be calculated at about 1 10 per square meter, and there will be more margin if it is actually enlarged to 130.

For example, the master bedroom 1 1 m2,1*130 =1430 w area heat load. For the table, you can use 600*800 or 900*600 radiator (the latter is the length). The price of the two is almost the same, and the choice depends entirely on the size of the reserved position and aesthetic needs.

In this way, my family finally determined the size of the radiator:

Coupled with the installation cost and installation consumables of the wall-hung boiler, the final price is less than 2W, which is within my psychological expectation. The warranty period of the pipeline is 30 years (so the merchants basically think that it will not be broken), the radiator 10 years, and the towel rack is 2 years.

This is a towel rack for toilet heating, which is not driven by electricity, but has the same structure as a radiator and is heated by water pipes. This heat conduction is faster. It's already very hot after running for 5 minutes, and it's estimated to be 50-60 degrees Celsius. After taking a shower, the towel can be hung directly on it, which will soon dry and feel very comfortable in warm winter.

As shown in the figure, there will be a rotatable handle wheel on one side of the radiator. There is a scale of 0-5 on it to control the opening of this radiator. 5 means fully open, and 0 means closed. In actual use, it must be at least 4.5 before it can be turned on, otherwise it will not dissipate heat.

The renovation was completed at the end of September, so far it is not cold in Shanghai, and the outdoor temperature has been at the highest 18 degrees Celsius, so it is impossible to test the effect. Finally, I waited until the outdoor temperature dropped to 15 degrees Celsius last weekend, so I tried it in a hurry. Before departure, the thermometer in the indoor restaurant showed 19.6 degrees Celsius. About 3 minutes after the start of heating, each radiator is heating up, and it feels at least 60 degrees Celsius. 10 minutes later, the room temperature has slowly increased by 0.2 degrees Celsius.

The human body feeling of radiator radiating heat is not as rude and direct as hot air conditioning. If you walk around the house in your underwear, you will feel cold. But the room temperature will rise very evenly, and there is no problem of local cold and local heat. It is not cold to sit in the living room in a thin coat. Maybe the room temperature is not low. When the radiator is turned on 1.5 hours, it is basically stable at about 22.6 degrees Celsius, that is, it has increased by 3 degrees Celsius. I left the radiator on all night, and the next morning I saw that the room temperature was 23.8 degrees Celsius. In fact, I felt too hot when I slept with a duvet that night.

After using it, I feel that the only problem is the radiator in the master bedroom. Because the coverage area is the smallest, I choose a relatively small radiator of 900*600mm, which is enough in theory. However, because the radiator in the master bedroom is farthest from the wall-hung boiler, the actual temperature rise is obviously one beat slower, and it is difficult to continue to rise until it reaches 18- 19 degrees. This temperature is not a big problem, just compared with the room. Therefore, when choosing radiators, we should consider the distance from the wall-hung boiler, and leave a margin if it is too far away.

Supplementary information: probably 165438+ I started using it after I came back from a business trip in early October, because the test data was basically on, and the room temperature at 7*24 was kept around 19.5 degrees Celsius. The gas bill I received in early February was 908 yuan, and I started to receive it from 620 yuan in early April (I went out for more than half a month during the Spring Festival in February), so the cost was about 65,438+450 months.

Continue: In 2020, due to the special epidemic situation, from the beginning of 65438+February, except for going out on 10 days before the Spring Festival, the radiator at home has never been related, and the temperature is relatively high, at 2 1-22 degrees. In fact, the last two gas charges are 2200 yuan, which is four months' expenses. After deducting about half a month, it is 3.5 months, which is about 600 yuan on average.

Summary of two winters:

If the radiator gas fee is turned on as needed, that is, it is turned off when there is no one during the day, with an average of about 400 per month; If it runs 24 hours a month, 600 yuan. Of course, the premise is that the house was newly renovated the year before last, and the warmth of the house has been greatly improved. Normally, the natural room temperature is high.
