Sheyang River, called Chaohe in ancient times, also called Shebei and Sheyang Port, is a natural river eroded by Sheyang Lake, hence its name. Originated in Sheyang Lake, it flows into the sea through Yongxing, Fucheng, Baojiadun and Tongxing Town, with a total length of198km and a drainage area of 4,036km2. The river twists and turns with numerous tributaries, and the length of the city is 133 km. This is the largest natural dry river in He Lixia.
