Staffing of hotel rooms

The staffing of hotel room attendants will be calculated according to the number of rooms, room area, room type and occupancy rate.

Example: There are 200 rooms in total, and the daily cleaning quota is generally 12 (based on the cleaning time of 25-40 minutes/room, 12- 14), with an average occupancy rate of 70% (50% in off-season and 90% in peak season) and an average rest day of 6 days (small hotel)

Calculation:

200 rooms * 70% = 140 (room/day)

140 rooms/12 rooms/person = 1 1.6 people = about 12 people.

There are 2 people in the middle shift (the middle shift 1 person can manage 60-80 rooms, but if there is a night shift, it can only be 30-50 rooms, and the labor cost will be greatly increased by 4 people) and 2 people in the night shift (more than 60 rooms need to be checked out in the morning, 1 person can check out less).

12 (morning shift) +2 (middle shift) +2 (night shift) = 16 people *6 days (rest days) = 96 days /24 days (shift days) = 4 people (shift)

12 (morning shift) +2 (middle shift) +2 (night shift) +4 people (substitute) = 20 people, and the waiter * * * wants 20 people, excluding the supervisor, foreman, cloth worker and asset manager.
