Three lives, one house.

Three living and one house B&B is located in the ancient village of Shen 'ao in the south of Tonglu, Hangzhou.

Jingshantang, the predecessor of B&B, has been in disrepair for a long time, leaving only broken walls and two wooden pillars in the courtyard. B&B spent a lot of energy in the early stage of renovation to study the construction and characteristics of the house, and visited Huizhou architecture in southern Anhui countless times. Finally, on the premise of the original structure and texture, modern elements are integrated, giving this old house a new life.

From 20 15 to March 20 17, it took two years to repair and transform, and it was officially opened to the public in April 20 17.

Three-bedroom and one-bedroom retains the tortuous structure of Huizhou architecture, and the lobby bar is located in the middle courtyard. Guests swipe their cards into B&B, and their eyes are full of woodcarving beams, lattice windows and couches, as if they had crossed into another time and space. Moreover, in the design process, the patio was specially transformed into a big fish tank. When you look up at the sky, you can see koi fish playing in the water. Sunlight refracts into the room through the glass fish tank, and the sofa, flowers and slate floor all glow with waves, giving people a dreamy feeling in broad daylight.

The guest room design continues the traditional classical style, and through ingenious design, the common problems in ventilation, lighting and sound insulation of old houses are solved. Not only that, in the design project, guests staying in 9 rooms in the main building will realize "one staircase and two households" to avoid the interference of guests going upstairs and downstairs to the greatest extent. Although the wooden room feels very classical, the facilities and bathrooms in the room are customized according to the standards of five-star hotels, which makes you feel at home.

There are 15 rooms in * *, all named after the churches in Shen 'ao Village: Huai Su, Su Hang, Yun Xuan, Yu Xiu, Di 'e, Jiuru, Juwu, Tingyi and Jiang Nanyi. Just listening to these names, you can feel the long-standing cultural heritage of Shen' ao Village.

The patio is surrounded by open-air bars, tea bars and book bars. The second floor of the main building is the guest room. The annex is a holding house with a dry landscape courtyard outside. Open the window and you can see the courtyard view from the tatami room. When painting the wall, deliberately leave some well-preserved ancient bricks, and ask someone to paint on the blue bricks instead of painting them.

The mottled tones of black, white and gray, coupled with the pictures of people with small bridges and flowing water, have a long ancient style and a new height of beauty.

B&B's biggest surprise is hidden in the backyard!

Who would have thought that there was an open-air swimming pool hidden in this small old house in Huizhou! A multifunctional sun room next to the swimming pool, the beams and columns are all renovated with old wood, and the rest are built with glass. Exquisite wood carving with transparent glass, the wonderful fusion of classical and modern is amazing.

The times are progressing, but the more people miss the charm of history. I came to a house with three students, a house converted from an old house, watching the passage of time and feeling the gift of history.
