What's the fun?

Weishan Island is located in Weishan County, Jining City, Shandong Province, about 5km east of the nearest place.

Visitors can go to Weishan Island by cruise ship or speedboat from the shore. The cruise is about 20 minutes, and the speedboat 10 minutes.

Although Weishan Island belongs to Jining City, Shandong Province, it is actually very close to Zaozhuang City, an important town in southern Shandong Province, about 20 kilometers.

Ordinary tourists choose to live in Zaozhuang and then go to Weishan Island to play. Of course, there are many hotels on Weishan Island, which can be used by tourists visiting the island.

Weishan Island is Weishan Town. There are about 13 villages with simple folk customs, and tens of thousands of tourists visit here every year.

During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, the famous story of the Flying Tigers happened here. A song "Playing My Beloved Pipa" made Weishan Island famous at home and abroad. Famous scenic spots on Weishan Island include the Flying Tigers Memorial Hall and Wanghuta.

The first thing tourists see when they land on the island are the "Three Sages Tombs" (Weizi Tombs, Mu Yi Tombs and Zhang Liangmu Tombs) and the Flying Tigers Monument.

You can visit the island from a distance. There is a hill to the west of Weishan Island. On this hill lies Weizi's tomb, which is the highest point of the whole island. People on the island commonly call it "Phoenix Terrace".

Standing on the Phoenix Terrace, overlooking Weishan Lake, sparkling and reeds rippling, the boat shuttles between Weishan Island and Weishan Lake in the east like a small fish.

Weizi tomb

Weizi's Tomb is located at Phoenix Terrace in central Weishan Island. It is said that golden phoenix once left here. Phoenix Terrace is 9 1.6 meters above sea level, which is the highest point on the island. It is said that Weishan Island is named after the cabbage is buried here, the lake is named after the mountain, and so is the county seat.

Zhang liangmu

Zhang Liangmu is a key cultural relic protection unit in Shandong Province. There are Han Que, Baitai, tunnel, tomb, stone tools and bronze statue of Sean in front of the tomb. There is an antique "Liu Hou Temple" behind the tomb, which contains Sean-related poems, books, paintings and unearthed cultural relics written by famous artists in the Han Dynasty. There are side halls around, called "Yan Hanchun Qiu" and "Buyi Han Qing". Next to Zhang Liangmu, there are Song Baohuai and Tongliang Monument, which no longer exist. Mu Yi tomb

Yi, Zi Zi, the seventeenth grandson, was Taizai of the Song Dynasty in the Spring and Autumn Period (equivalent to the later prime minister), a famous strategist in the history of China, and was handed down from generation to generation in the year of "Debate on Zi Yu". When Song Xianggong fought against the powerful Chu State, Chu soldiers were halfway through the flood, and it was suggested to take the opportunity to attack. Song Xianggong said he was dishonest and disobedient. When Chu soldiers crossed the flood, the man suggested an immediate attack. Song Xianggong said that people have not yet established their status and are still disobedient. It was not until Chu Jun was ready that Song Xianggong ordered the attack and Chu Jun won. In Mao Zedong's famous On Protracted War, he said that Song Xianggong was a stupid moral pig. The person who gave advice to Song Xianggong was Mu Yi. He was buried here after his death because he admired the sages. His tomb is in the east peak of the island, one kilometer away from the Chinese cabbage tomb. The tomb is a key cultural relic protection unit in Jining City, surrounded by pine and cypress. In front of the tomb stood a stone tablet erected in Xining for five years, which read the six characters "Tomb of Song Xianmu Yijun", which was well known to Fu Suoshu in Xuzhou at that time, with vigorous brushwork and elegant patina. The surface of the monument still has bullet marks left by the past war years, which adds a bit of mystery to this Millennium thing. The open space behind the tomb was the location of the military camp when the Japanese invaders occupied Weishan Island. Now the tomb area has been comprehensively planned and construction has started.

Pudu temple

Weishan Lake Cultural Park, located in Zhangliangmu Scenic Area, covers an area of nearly 100 mu and is a large Buddhist building in China. The whole project is a five-story hall with a building area of 5,000 square meters. The hall on the first floor is called "Pudu Temple", inscribed by Wang Xuezhong, a famous contemporary calligrapher. The word "Hall of Great Heroes" is the last work of Zhang Daqian, a famous painter in China. There are dozens of couplets in the hall, all written by famous artists. The exhibition halls are 49 meters apart, the highest in the world. Beautiful, magnificent and amazing.

Anti-Japanese Heroes Memorial Park

The Anti-Japanese Heroes Memorial Park includes the Flying Tigers Memorial Hall and Monument. The memorial hall covers a total area of1200m2, displaying photos of anti-Japanese heroes and revolutionary cultural relics during the Anti-Japanese War. By using panoramic murals, sculptures, revolutionary cultural relics, pictures, modern digital, sound, light and electronic plastic arts, the memorial hall reproduces the fighting scene of the Flying Tigers against the Japanese aggressors in an all-round and wide-angle way. The completion of the museum enriches the connotation of red tourism.

Weishan Lake International Calligraphy Forest is located in the east of Zhangliangmu Scenic Area, covering an area of nearly 20 mu. The whole forest of steles consists of the gate square, the stele gallery, the waist room, the painting and calligraphy garden and Han Yunzhai. Magnificent, dignified and elegant, smooth and free and easy, ups and downs, showing an elegant bookstore scene.

Han dynasty stone relief

Weishan Island, in the Han Dynasty, was once the jurisdiction of Xi 'en's fief to stay in the city, and the northwest was the hometown of Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang, which was always valued by the feudal dynasty. Many Han stone reliefs of Weishan Island were unearthed in Gounan, Wanzhuang, Qianmu, Yaocun and other places, totaling more than 100, of which more than 40 were collected by the county cultural management office.

Stone relief

Most of the stone reliefs in Weishan Island are engraved with negative lines, and their artistic styles are quite different from those in the two cities. It skillfully combines the expression of points and lines in China's traditional painting with the art of stone carving, draws an image of an object with negative lines on the chiseled stone surface, generalizes and exaggerates, uses simple lines and embellishes the image with points and lines, which makes the picture rich in change, contrast and uniqueness.
