National Day experiences: Climbing Mogan Mountain (narrative)

The golden breeze blows coolly, the sky is high and the clouds are clear. In this season of fragrant flowers and fruits, we welcome the fifty-ninth birthday of our motherland. I feel very happy to celebrate the National Day with everyone. . Here, I want to proudly say to my motherland: I love you, China!

Ah! The Yellow River and the Yangtze River are galloping for thousands of miles. What a glorious nation you have nurtured! Five thousand years of glorious history and world-renowned Chinese civilization are enough to amaze people. Oh, motherland, the trickling rivers are your long flowing hair, and the long and long mountains are your strong backbone. You have treasures all over the mountains and plains, you have beautiful landscapes, you have the splendid Forbidden City, you have the winding Great Wall stretching thousands of miles, and even though it lasts through the ages, there are eight desolations across it. You have many more. . . . . . In your vast land, generations of descendants of Yan and Huang created the splendid Eastern civilization with their own hands.

However, we will not forget that the Chinese nation has gone through many vicissitudes and pains, and our motherland has also been bullied and insulted. We can’t forget the fire in Yuanmingyuan, the label of “Sick Man of East Asia” placed on every Chinese person’s head, the sign at the entrance of the park that says “Chinese and dogs are not allowed in”, and the blood-stained blood of 300,000 compatriots in Nanjing. The Yangtze River turned red. The earth is groaning and the Yellow River is weeping. However, the Chinese People will never be overwhelmed.

The destruction of opium in Humen marked the beginning of the Chinese people’s fight against aggression. The flag of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, the thunder of the Reform Movement of 1898, the sword of the Boxer Rebellion, and the gunfire of the Revolution of 1911 all showed to the world that the Chinese nation cannot be insulted and the Chinese people cannot be bullied. The cry of the May 4th Movement and the founding of the Communist Party of China were like thunder piercing the night sky. From Nanchang to Jinggangshan, from Yan'an to Xibaipo, "a single spark can start a prairie fire." The Chinese people just used millet and rifles to create a splendid new China. Our Eastern giant finally stood up again!

After 56 years of ups and downs and 54 years of hard work, our motherland stands firmly in the east of the world. The Chinese people are enjoying unprecedented peace and prosperity. The ship of socialism with Chinese characteristics is cutting through the waves and moving forward with its head held high!

Students, China is already very powerful, but we must not forget that our great cause of reunification has not yet been completed. The international anti-China forces are determined to destroy us. Japan covets our Diaoyu Islands, and we must not forget. The bombing of our embassy in 1999 and the blood of our compatriots told us: we are not strong enough.

The difficulties and obstacles in our progress inspire our lofty morale. In the new millennium, the new century, and the new starting point, the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has given us a new clarion call for march. Hundreds of millions of Chinese people are marching towards Forge ahead with new goals.

Students, we are the future of our motherland and nation, and we live in a great era. Students, work hard, the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation will be realized in our hands. Motherland, mother! Please believe that we will definitely live up to the trust of history, and the new "Chinese Symphony" will play a more exciting and brilliant movement in our hands! Just as Li Dazhao expected: "Let the five thousand years of righteousness of the Chinese nation be reborn in the flames of youth! Let the five thousand years of the vigorous national soul of China be reborn in the flames of youth!!!"

National Day Composition

It is the golden autumn and the climate is pleasant. On the occasion of the National Day, I invited my good friend Shi Zhan to go to Haiyan, Zhejiang with our family to let our mood go!

We are used to seeing the towering concrete forests in big cities, which are old-fashioned and dull. The blindly gray tone seems a bit dull. The green mountains and clear waters of the North and South Lakes and the ten-mile long embankment on the bank of the Qianjiang River are increasingly prominent in my mind. The unique freshness and smart texture make me fascinated. After getting on the A4 highway, I felt very happy. Look: the fields on the roadside are full of autumn fruits; the fiery red maple trees are particularly gorgeous under the reflection of the morning sun. The sky is spotless blue, the clouds seem to have become transparent, and the radiance of the autumn sun is so gentle that it makes people's hearts tremble. Breathing in the fresh air with the earthy fragrance, it feels really different.

It takes an hour’s drive to reach Haiyan. We put down our luggage and rushed to the beach. This is the mouth of the Qiantang River, where the world-famous Qiantang Tide originates.

The last time we came here, we spent a whole day playing and caught several large pots of white shrimps and small crabs, but each of them turned into "big painted faces" and "mud legs". We were still not satisfied! On the way, I told Shi Zhan a lot about the techniques of catching shrimps and crabs, and I heard him gearing up...

When I got to the beach, I discovered that the tide was rising, and the seawater had flooded the entire beach, making it impossible to catch them. The shrimps and crabs are catching, which makes us feel a bit disappointed! Layers of waves in the sea rushed towards the embankment, but there was no tide coming. The sea water is not blue, but is yellow with sand. After standing on the seawall for a while, Shi Zhan and I walked into the seaside park. Hey, what is that? Why are you jumping around among the cobblestones? Oh, look clearly, it turns out to be a grasshopper! Looking at the green grasshoppers, Shi Zhan and I couldn't help but feel itchy! I asked my mother for two plastic bags and put one on my hand, while Shi Zhan had to use his "karate" to catch grasshoppers! We first drove it into the grass, and then Shi Zhan pounced on it with both hands. Unexpectedly, the grasshopper jumped and flew up, which shocked us. The grasshopper flew for a while and landed on a clump of grass. We gently approached the clump of grass, looked carefully, and saw the grasshopper landing on a blade of grass. I gently covered it with a plastic bag, ah, it’s covered! Shi Zhan quickly reached in with his hand to catch it, and put it into another bag after catching it. With experience, we began to look for grasshoppers all over the ground. After a while, due to our tacit cooperation, we caught dozens of grasshoppers. And Shi Zhan and I have regained our long-lost childlike innocence!

The next day, we drove to the North and South Lake Scenic Area. The mountains in the north and south are not high, but there are mountains and green hills. The water is not deep, but it is winding. It's too similar to West Lake, but it's quieter and more rural than West Lake. You see, the weeping willows by the lake are graceful, and the wind combs her beautiful long hair; the pine trees on the mountain are green, and the autumn wind blows, creating waves of pine waves. Along the lake embankment, when I reached the center of the trestle, I raised my eyes and looked around: there was water on the left, water on the right, water in front, and water behind. The water was rippling with blue waves, and there was no dirt at all. Hope you like it!
