202 1 There is no New Year's Eve activity on the Bund in Shanghai.

Shanghai Bund is located on the Huangpu River in Huangpu District, Shanghai, namely Waihuangpu Beach, which is a historical and cultural block in China. Since 1844 (twenty-four years of Qing Daoguang), the Bund area has been classified as a British concession, which has become a true portrayal of Shanghai Shili Ocean Field and the starting point of the old Shanghai concession area and the whole modern Shanghai city.

The Bund is 1.5km long, starting from Yan 'an East Road in the south, reaching Baidu Bridge outside Suzhou Creek in the north, Huangpu River in the east and financial and foreign trade institutions in old Shanghai in the west. After Shanghai became a commercial port, foreign banks, firms, general associations and newspapers began to gather here, and the Bund became the financial center of the whole country and even the Far East.

On August 8, the seventh year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1868), Huangpu Park was officially opened, but it was only open to foreigners.

In the 12th year of Guangxu reign (1886), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the public concession allowed China people in the concession to visit the park. By the 17th year of the Republic of China (1928), the park was completely open to China people, and all the restrictive slogans were removed.
