Laos Mo Ding Special Economic Zone is located in Xishuangbanna, China-Luang Prabang, Laos-Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is under the jurisdiction of Longnanta Province in Laos and adjacent to Mohan Port in China, with a total development area of 16.4 square kilometers and a forest protection area of 17.9 square kilometers. Mo Ding is located at east longitude 10 1.669699, and north latitude 2 1. 17937, belonging to the province of Longnanta, Laos. Langmanta Province borders Jiao Bo Province in the southwest, Udomsai Province in the southeast, Myanmar in the northwest and Yunnan Province in China in the northeast. The northwest of the province is bounded by Mekong River, and rivers such as Nantahe River flow west or south. Laos, where Mo Ding Special Economic Zone is located, has a tropical and subtropical monsoon climate, and the dry season and rainy season are distinct throughout the year. The annual average temperature is 26℃, and the annual precipitation is 1200-2500mm. May-10 is the rainy season and June-10 is the dry season.

Laos Mo Ding Special Economic Zone is planned to be four industrial parks before the project, namely: commercial and financial zone, cultural and educational industrial zone, bonded logistics processing industrial zone and tourist resort zone.
