HotelEurope, which recently opened in the suburbs of Bonn, Germany, has aroused great interest. This 4-star hotel with 18 floors is not famous for its height, but for the portrait of 130 people hanging on the front wall of the hotel.

This 130 portrait is called "great art, solidified history". The author is German artist H·A· shulte, and the German post office paid for shulte's paintings. These portraits will be printed as commemorative stamps. These portraits, each with an area of 20 square meters, introduce representative figures who have an influence on the historical process of Europe and the world. Among them are Marx with a big red beard, Mao Zedong with bald hair in his youth, Adenauer, Einstein, Darwin, Margaret Thatcher, Mandela, Emperor Kangxi, Madame Curie, Princess Diana, Nightingale (pioneer of modern nursing), Shakespeare, Brecht (master of German drama) and so on. These characters were all painted by shulte as prominent faces, which condensed the essence of their lives and made people unforgettable. Together, these essences are a true world history.
