Seek the history of Shencuo Village, Qiandong Town, Raoping County, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province (starting from the creation of the village)

Zhaoan County, Fujian Province, bordering Raoping County, is located in Shen Shi. Because of its large population, it was once called "Shenban County". Shen Shi, who migrated to eastern Guangdong, came from Zhao 'an School. In order to study its origin, we visited Shencuo Village, Qiandong Town, Raoping County.

First of all, in Shen Shi Grand Ancestral Hall, I met two couplets written by Mr. Shen Yingming, a professor of Taiwan Travel in the village. One of them is:

Zhao Qizhou, after Han, Liang, Tang and Song Dynasties, was later famous Yan Shize; Originated in Gushi, it passed through the tide of Anhui, Zhejiang and Fujian, and frequently went to Haojun and Chongshan.

The second is:

On the great glory of generations, look at Jing, Fujian and Xinjiang, be flat and handsome, gather in exile, open a village, be elegant, and want to see courage and martial arts; Read the historical records of the former dynasty, make a sound spectrum, write your own words, write Liu Ji, and write the Book of Jin. The platform is magnificent and fascinating.

Two couplets let us understand the origin of Shen Shi. By visiting Mr. Shen Zhiwei, who participated in the compilation of the genealogy of Chaoshan Shen Shi, and consulting relevant materials, I learned the ins and outs of Shen Shi's entry into Guangdong from Fujian. Shen Shi's surname in Gushi history comes from two aspects: first, it comes from Ji's surnameNo. 10, and was sealed in Shen, the son of Shen (now Beishenting, Pingyu County, Henan Province); The second is from the surname of Si, that is, the vassal state of Shen (in Shenqiu, northwest of Fuyang County, Anhui Province), the vassal state of Shen.

Shen Shi in eastern Guangdong comes from the surname Ji and is the ancestor of the surname Ji. This is the origin of "Zhao qi zhou". From the following season to the end of the Western Han Dynasty, it spread to Shen Da 3 1, living in Gushi, Henan Province, and his second son Rongchang was thirty-two years old. In the first year of Yong in the Eastern Han Dynasty (89- 105), it was named the Duke of Yong, and was regarded as the ancestor by Shen, so it was called "the birthplace of Gushi". He is the highest official and good at poetry and prose. After moving to Wu Kang, Xing Wu (now Wu Kang Town, Deqing, Zhejiang), Xing Wu became the county name of Shen Shi. Shen Yue's fourth generation grandson (the 48th Shen Shi) was announced by Zhang Binhong's government. He was originally an official in Henan Province. He is a big man and good at writing and martial arts. In the second year of Emperor Taizong's reign (669), Emperor Gaozong ordered Zheng Chen to lead the troops into Fujian, causing a riot, calling Qianqiu the pioneer of Fujian and leading the troops into Anxian County (now a genus) of Gushui. Brave and good at fighting, she once fell to 36 villages in 2 1 century. When Tang Gaozong heard of her bravery, he gave a special letter to Shen Yong, and Shen Shi was awarded the honor of a warrior. After Zheng Chen's death, Zi Yuanguang led the troops on behalf of his father and General Angelababy. In the second year of Yifeng (677), Chen Qian, a thief, joined forces with Miao Zicheng and Lei Wanxing, and captured Chaoyang, Guangdong, which the defenders could not recover. Chang Huaide, the secretariat of Chaozhou, told Chen Yuanguang to suppress it. Shen Century sent troops with Chen Yuanguang to recover Chaoyang, and then leveled Guangkou. After more than a hundred battles, he captured thousands of troops and leveled the mountain. In the first year of Yonglong (680), Chen Yuanguang summoned the general manager of Lingnan March, and the influx of people invited him to beg for help and Chaoyang. In order to protect the environment and people, Chen set up a patrol station in Sifang, and its west station is located in Nanzhao, with jurisdiction from Zhaoan County to Jieyang County. This station was stationed by Shen Century. At the same time, he followed the strategy of "combining the far and the soft", shaving thorns, opening up villages, plowing fields and accumulating grain, trading with Jia, trading into a market, and opening up Zhang Zhao and Li Chao.

During the Yifeng period, Tang Gaozong promoted Shen Yong as the general to protect the country. After his death, in the fourth year of Kaiyuan (7 16), he was ordered to build a temple to worship six generals, including Shen Shiji. In the third year of Song Shaoxing (1 133), he was named as the general of aiding the United States, and in the sixteenth year (1 146), he was named as the general of Wu Dehou in front of the temple. In Zhaoan County and Taiwan Province Province where Shen lives, there are temples dedicated to Shen. Yonghong's birthday is celebrated every year on the 25th day of the seventh lunar month. From Zhaoan County to Shenshi in eastern Guangdong, very grand sacrificial activities were held. Nanzhao Xu Yanpei Ze Meng Xun Song Du Nan, Shen Yongzhi 17 Sun Shen Tingwei, moved back to Jianyang, Fujian, and was honored as the ancestor by Shen Shi sent by Fujian. Tinfu gave birth to eight children, all made of wood: Toona sinensis, Catalpa bungeana, pine, cypress, cinnamon, banyan, roots and branches. At the turn of the Song and Yuan Dynasties, the mountains and rivers swayed and the soldiers and fires continued. Jiro and Balang left Jianyang. The branch moved to Hangzhou above Fujian, and the descendants later entered Meizhou, Xingning, Fogang and Guangxi in Guangdong, but Raoping has a branch, which was founded in Chikeng Village and Fengshanlou Village in Lianrao Town, Shencuozhai Village in Xingfeng of Sanrao City, and Shi Cun to the east of Haishan Town. Erlangtuo is one of the ancestors of Nanzhao Xu Yan, who first arrived in Zhangzhou and then moved to Zhaoan County. In the fifth generation, Bin gave birth to four sons, one named Chang Tou, two named Dong Shen, three named Qi Guan and four named Chun Liang. Their descendants developed rapidly and were later called "Shenban County in Zhao 'an". While Shen Shi has the largest population, with two offices, namely, a general office and a department, accounting for 89% of the population of Shen Shi. The long house is called Guanyin Mountain School, from which Shen Shi in eastern Guangdong comes.

Shencuo Village, Qiandong Town, Raoping County, is the ancestor of Shen, the first grandson of catalpa 10 and the fourth grandson of Guanyin Mountain School. It was built in Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty (formerly known as Zhangfuqian Village) and was the ancestor of Shen Shi in Shencuo Village. Now it has spread to the 26th generation, and they have their own poetic order, namely Zhang Zhao. Goodbye Deng Yong, Tian Wen and Ji Yan. ***24 characters, starting from 12 generation, all the way to the Yuzi generation, with a population of about 800. The second ancestor of this village, Yin Zhai, and the second son, Rong Que, were founded in the north village of Haishan Port in Raoping.

At present, the distribution of Shenshi (Guanyin Mountain Sect) in eastern Guangdong is as follows: in Raoping County, besides Shencuo, there are Dongbian Village and Gangbei Village in Haishan Town; Shen Shi, Xinhe Village, Huanggang Town. Huamei Township (now divided into two administrative regions) and Houguo Village in Chaoan County have a population of about 30,000. The population of Fusha Village, Jinzhou District Village, Wantou Village and Hongyangang Village in Chenghai County is over 8,000. Chaoyang City is located in Qiaodong Village of Guanbu Town and Caowei Village of Tongyu Town. Jieyang City is located in Shencuogang and Guiling Village, Wushe, Xianmen, Rongcheng. Huilai City is located in Miaohai, Huizhai Village, Shi Si Village (moved from Raoping Shencuo) and Fuchang Village of Xian 'an Town. Baisha Township, Lufeng City, with a population of more than 6,000. Starting from Baisha, there are villages such as Gao Xi, Shang Wei, Shen Xia, Donghai, Jieshi, Jiazi, Qiaozaitou, Pubian, Hudong and Haifeng Jiesheng, with a population of more than 20,000. Qitou School has Jingtan Township, Jiexi County, with a population of 1. 1 1,000. All of the above are directly moved from Zhaoan County to all parts of eastern Guangdong.
