Binzhou City is located in the northern part of Shandong Province, the hinterland of the Yellow River Delta, and the southwest coast of the Bohai Bay. It is connected to the sea in the north, Dongying City in the east, Zibo City in the south, Jinan City in the southwest, Dezhou City in the west, and Dezhou City in the northwest. It faces Haixing County and Huanghua City in Hebei Province across the Zhangweixin River. The city spans both sides of the Yellow River, with geographical coordinates: 36°41′~38°16′ north latitude, 117°15′~118°37′ east longitude, with a maximum span of 120 kilometers from east to west and a maximum span of 175 kilometers from north to south. Area is 9453 square kilometers. Binzhou City cannot directly take a boat to other cities.
