On July 23, 2009, COFCO was once again shortlisted as an A-level enterprise in SASAC performance appraisal.
The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) announced the results of the performance appraisal of the heads of central enterprises in 2008, and COFCO was once again shortlisted in the list of A-level enterprises for performance appraisal, ranking 18.
In 2008, 145 central enterprises were actually included in the SASAC assessment (or trial evaluation). Among them, there are 32 A-level enterprises, accounting for 22.07%.
In 2007, COFCO was selected as an A-level enterprise for the first time, ranking 32nd.
According to the Interim Measures for the Assessment of the Operating Performance of the Person in Charge of Central Enterprises, the operating performance of the person in charge of the enterprise is assessed, and an assessment system is implemented, which combines the annual assessment with the term assessment, unifies the result assessment with the process evaluation, and links the assessment results with rewards and punishments. At the 9th annual meeting of China Hotel Forum held in Guangzhou, COFCO won the "Golden Horse Award for China Hotel", which is the highest honor award in the national hotel industry.
