1967, the first Novotel brand hotel opened in Lille, France.

After Accor Formula One Motel 1985 opened, 1005 opened 1000 branches all over the world. 1985 introduces the economic brand "Fo Miao Lei 1".
1990 bought the American brand "Motel 6".
1990, Novotel brand launched an innovative project called "Looking to the Future" in Europe, and invested more than 228 million yuan to transform the bedrooms, shower rooms and public areas of the hotel to ensure its hospitality purpose at the forefront of the trend.
1992, Novotel Asia Pacific opened its first hotel in Singapore.
At the beginning of 2002, Accor cooperated with BTG to develop the three-star Mercure brand.
In April, 2002, Accor Group acquired Century and Zenith, international hotel chains with strong strength in South China and Southeast Asia, which doubled the number of hotels in China. In June, 2002, Accor invested 20 million yuan to set up a sales and distribution joint venture with Jinjiang. On April 16, 2004, Ibis opened its first store in Tianjin with a total investment of 35 million yuan.
From June 5th to1October, 2004, Paul Dubru, Chairman of Accor Group, came to Chengdu to lay the foundation stone for Accor Group's first budget hotel Ibis in the west of China.
On February 8, 2005, Sofitel Wanda Hotel was officially listed as a five-star hotel. So far, there are five five-star hotels in Chengdu, making it the city with the largest number of five-star hotels in western China. In 2000, there were only two five-star hotels in Chengdu: Jinjiang Hotel and Crowne Plaza Hotel.
On March 29th, Guangdong Airport Management Group Corporation announced that Accor Group will manage Novotel Baiyun airport hotel, located at Guangzhou New International Airport, which has 460 rooms and opened on June 38, 2005+10. It is the only airport hotel in China. Accor's global airport hotel network has expanded to 60 hotels in 18 countries.
On March 3rd, Kloc-0, Jiangsu Wan Tai signed a contract with Accor. Sofitel Zhongshan Golf Hotel invested by Jiangsu Wan Tai Industrial Group, a subsidiary of Suning Group, has 190 rooms, and Sofitel Galaxy Hotel has 278 rooms, which will be opened in September 2005 and the end of 2005 respectively.
On April 4th, Accor revealed that Ibis will open no less than 50 direct stores in the next three years, and Accor's direct investment in China will be no less than US$ 200 million. The key areas of expansion are Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and Bohai Rim, and Shanghai and Yangtze River Delta are the first steps of large-scale expansion.
In early April, Accor signed a management contract with Nanjing galaxy international for Sofitel Hotel.
On April 12, Accor Hotel Management Group held the largest hotel tour in the Asia-Pacific region in Beijing. Representatives from Accor's 4,000 hotels around the world gathered in Beijing to cooperate with major hotel enterprises and tourism enterprises in China.
On May 10, Accor signed a management contract with Zhejiang Wanda Group for Sofitel Hangzhou Xiaoshan Xanadu Resort Hotel, which is scheduled to open in February 2005. This is the second Sofitel brand signed by Accor in Hangzhou.
On May 18, Sophia Hotel, the second high-star hotel in Laoshan District, Qingdao, opened.
On May 19, Accor Ibis Fuzhou Store started construction with 220 rooms.
On May 27th, Accor Asia Pacific Hong Kong Co., Ltd. invested 30 million yuan to build Accor Ibis Hotel and the Ministry of Information Industry invested 20 million yuan to rebuild the sanatorium of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in Qingdao.
On May 3rd1,Accor announced the addition of three hotels in Chinese mainland, including two hotels in cooperation with FiziGroup. Recently, the two sides signed a management contract for Sofitel Frontier Hotel Tianmu Lake and Sofitel Frontier Hotel Haikou. The other is Sofitel Xiaoshan Hangzhou. Hotels in Hangzhou and Haikou will open at the end of 2005. Accor is also preparing to open a brand-new Sofitel Hotel in Hong Kong, thus expanding Accor's operating hotels in Hong Kong to five.
On July 26th, Sofitel Xiamen Hotel, the first five-star hotel managed by International Hotel Management Group with an investment of 600 million yuan from Singapore Dahua Real Estate Co., Ltd., was put into trial operation, with 393 rooms and suites ... Sofitel Xiamen 1 1 Sofitel China Hotel.
On August 25th, the management contract of Sofitel Guangzhou Urban Construction Hotel was signed, with an investment of 700 million yuan, a construction area of 68,000 square meters and 45 rooms per kloc-0. It was opened in 2007. At the end of 2005, Novotel Hairun Hotel, the fourth Novotel brand hotel in Beijing, opened.
On August 28th, Accor signed the management contract for Sofitel Sheshan Hotel and Pudong Hotel in Shanghai. Sofitel Sheshan Shanghai opened in 2007, located in Songjiang District, Shanghai, with 260 superior rooms and 58 suites, covering an area of 45 square meters and 67 square meters respectively. There are also 1 presidential villa and 5 ministerial villas. Accor signed a contract with Li Nan Group to manage Dipu Hotel, a boutique hotel located at the junction of yandang road Pedestrian Street and Nanchang Road, which opened in early 2006 and has 52 rooms. This is the first hotel managed by Accor in China without its own brand. Boutique hotels are very common abroad. These hotels may not be rated as star-rated, but they have complete facilities and relatively high-end positioning. The biggest feature is its small scale, only dozens of rooms, and its personalized service is suitable for young business guests. Accor recently signed management contracts with two high-end hotels in Shanghai, which have been in business since the first half of 2006. Accor has opened 28 hotels in China, covering China 16 major cities. By 2006, Accor will have more than 40 hotels in China. In 2005, Suzhou, Shijiazhuang and two Sofitel Nanjing hotels opened one after another.
On September 25th, Sofitel took over two hotels in Shanghai and Guangzhou 1 Hotel, and plans to open together with the first Sofitel Hotel in Beijing in 2007.
By the end of 2005, Sofitel hotels in Xi, Xiamen and Nanjing have opened one after another, and the number of Sofitel hotels in China has increased to eight.
On June 5438- 10, 2006, wanda plaza Wanda Hotel, the commercial core area of Jianguo Road, Beijing, opened. Invest 800 million yuan, and build it according to the platinum five-star standard. The minimum standard room area is not less than 36 square meters, and there is a triple combined banquet hall with an area of 1400 square meters.
In 2006, there were 40 hotels in China.
By the end of 2007, Sofitel Wanda Beijing, the first Sofitel Hotel in Beijing, will open.
In 2007, Accor owned 50 hotels in China, including more than 20 Sofitel hotels and resorts. There are 300 hotels in Asia-Pacific region.
In 2008, Ibis plans to reach the scale of 50.
