According to the State Council Decree No.253, Regulations on Environmental Protection Management of Construction Projects, Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Impact Assessment and other relevant laws and regulations, Huangshan Huizhou Fontainebleau Investment and Development Co., Ltd. entrusted Huangshan Environmental Science Research Institute to conduct environmental impact assessment on its Fontainebleau Resort Hotel project on August 20 10. In order to safeguard the legitimate environmental rights and interests of the public in the project area, according to the relevant provisions of the Interim Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment (UNCED [2006] No.28), the public participation in this project was publicized for the first time. Publicity is as follows:

Construction site: the north side of Hetonghuang expressway underpass line in Qiankou Town, Huizhou District.

Construction content and scale:

The project is located on the north side of Hetonghuang expressway Interchange in Qiankou Town, Huizhou District, with a total planned area of 338,000 square meters (about 507 mu). The east side is adjacent to Qiankou Yifeng Park, and the west and north sides are all forests with good vegetation. The total investment of the project is 88 million US dollars, and the construction contents include a five-star hotel and clubhouse, a serviced apartment and several resort hotels, in which the total construction area of the five-star hotel and clubhouse is about 23 100 m2, with supporting facilities such as restaurants, bars and swimming pools, and the total construction area of the apartment hotel is 172 15 m2, and the resort hotel.

(4) Working procedures and contents of environmental assessment

Working procedure:

Entrusted by the construction unit, the EIA unit studies relevant laws, regulations, standards and other documents, conducts preliminary site surveys, visits relevant departments, selects key evaluation projects, makes public participation announcements, conducts detailed site surveys, monitors environmental status, conducts environmental impact assessments, participates extensively, proposes environmental protection measures, and draws EIA conclusions.
