White frost on plastic products is non-toxic. Because the volatile substances or soluble low molecular weight additives in the raw materials of plastic products form gaseous states after being heated, they are released from the plastic melt. After entering the mold cavity, they are forced to the vicinity of the parting surface with exhaust effect. The gas precipitates or crystallizes, forming white frost that adheres to the mold surface.
