What should I pay attention to when going abroad for the first time, Germany?

Luggage List-Clothes

I have to talk about the climate in Germany first:

Germany is close to the North Sea, with a forest coverage rate of over 30%, so the climate is relatively mild. For example, the latitude of Berlin is even farther north than the northernmost part of China, and it is about -5 degrees in winter (165438+1October-March). Because it is dry, there is no strong wind, and I can't feel the cold, which is much better than the severe winter in China, Beijing and Jiangnan. This winter is a warm winter of El Nino, and the temperature in Berlin in January can reach 12 degrees! ! Summer is pleasant, with an average of no more than 25 degrees. Only ten days a year exceed 30 degrees, the highest is about 32 degrees, but there is no sultry feeling at all. For example, today's forecast is 3 1 degree, which is less than 25 degrees in the morning and 30 degrees at noon, but even if my room is in the morning, it is 27 degrees to put down the curtains at home, just like China turns on the air conditioner, and even a nap is covered with a quilt! I wear this thin quilt all year round, and I never need to add or subtract quilts. It was already late at night, and the temperature dropped to about 20 degrees. If it was rainy some time ago, the temperature will be in the twenties during the day. From May to the end of June 10, the temperature in Germany (Berlin area) has been above 20 degrees. If it is sunny for several days in a row, the temperature gradually rises to more than 30 degrees (the temperature is still very low at night), and once it rains, the temperature drops sharply. Berlin is similar to north-central Germany. There may be some differences in the southern mountainous areas, but the heat is not great. Almost all my friends around me are worried that the heat will be unbearable after returning home.

Germany belongs to a country with high latitude, and the sunshine time varies greatly: on February 22, 65438, it was bright from 9 am to 4 pm, and it was always cloudy in winter, so it was difficult to see the sunshine. At the end of June, it lit up at 4: 00 in the morning, and it was not completely dark at night 10, as if there would be no dark night curtain in the sky. So winter in Germany is not cold, but gloomy sky and long night. So at the beginning of spring and summer, as soon as the sun came out, everyone scrambled to take off their clothes and bask in the sun.

There is heating in the house, and there are buses and subways. It won't be too cold in winter. General indoor temperature 15 to 20 degrees. Wear a warm autumn trousers, a pair of thin wool trousers, a pair of casual trousers or jeans, and a thin sweater. Then go out and put on a down jacket directly, or wear a thick sweater coat, plus a warm coat or coat. So it won't sweat indoors. The heating in the supermarket is particularly sufficient, and shopping is hard. Although I only wear down jackets, I wear very little inside, but my underwear is still sweaty. Friends who wear a lot of sweaters in winter pay more attention.

Therefore, down jackets are not absolutely necessary. You can change it into leather, high-grade warm coat, windbreaker or coat (if you bring these, you can consider not taking down jacket). Don't use a thick down jacket, the key is to be bigger and windproof. German down jackets and coats are expensive and ugly. However, considering the weight and volume, this kind of clothes should not be taken too much. Finally, it shouldn't be put in a box. As mentioned above, it should be put in a plastic bag with some books and boarded the plane directly, saying it can be worn, so that the weight and space of the luggage can not be recorded.

The rest depends on personal preference. German coat down jacket, men's sweater, coat, etc. They are all expensive and have limited styles. They should be brought from China. Men are advised to bring more clothes. However, women's sweaters, T-shirts, pants and shirts in Germany were all very affordable when they were sold in June 5438+1October and July, and many styles were very good. My girlfriend thinks she has too many clothes to buy new ones. As a result, she brought back a lot of clothes that she had never worn before (half! )。 After reading the detailed description of the weather above, I don't think it is necessary to introduce the pants and clothes I should bring in detail. Most of them are clothes in spring and autumn.

Special attention: bring more underwear, change socks in autumn, and bring less coats and sweaters. Because renting a house does not necessarily bring a washing machine, you should save several sets of dirty clothes and go to the laundry center to wash them. Germany is very clean. Although I have a washing machine that can be washed at any time, I haven't seen dust on my coat and trousers for two or three weeks. Finally, I feel uncomfortable if I don't wash it, for fear that the landlord will feel unclean. I wash my pants hardly because they are dirty. So you don't need to bring a lot of heavy clothes such as pants, coats and sweaters, and you can bring them back to China later.

It seems that it is good to plant more trees. I remember when I was in college in the north, in autumn and winter, the newly wiped desk was dusty for half a day, and my pants had to be changed every two days. ...

Clothes not recommended:

Suits are almost unnecessary. German white-collar workers mostly wear suits to work, and few people wear them on the street. You don't have to wear a suit to attend ordinary parties, parties, concerts, speeches, major events, etc. As long as you dress appropriately, there will be no bad influence. Maybe everyone is more casual. If you really want to bring it, you can, but considering that you will bring more things for the first time, it is inconvenient to bring a suit and it is easy to be damaged. I suggest taking it back to China next time. It won't be used for a year or so anyway. For friends who are used to wearing suits, try to bring as few sets as possible. Transportation and maintenance are very troublesome problems.

Skirts seem to be rarely worn, and it is estimated that they will not exceed two or three months (above 27 degrees). Of course, ladies who like to wear clothes can bring thicker ones.

Cotton trousers, thick wool trousers and leather trousers, as I have already said, Germany does not need these in winter, otherwise it is not convenient to take them off when entering the house.

Wear high-grade wool, pure wool or cashmere clothes as little as possible (especially coats). The maintenance of these things is the biggest problem. German dry cleaning and related services are very expensive, so it is better to give yourself less trouble.
