In the sixty years of Kangxi, Sichuan began to build more lecture halls and study rooms, increasing the number of students and expanding the scale. In the 11th year of Yongzheng (1733), it was listed as a provincial academy, and the funds were allocated by the government for the income and expenditure of studying fields. In the thirty-ninth year of Qianlong (1774), Wen Shu, the governor of Sichuan, added lecture halls, study houses and other facilities, purchased land property and expanded its scale again. In the 19th year of Jiaqing (18 14), Li Yaodong, the magistrate of Chengdu, built an antique stone room behind the lecture hall. In twenty-four years, Governor Jiang of Sichuan Province made the article 10 of the Rules and Regulations of Jinjiang Academy in order to rectify and strengthen teaching management.

In the 28th year of Daoguang (1848), the school scale was expanded and the enrollment quota was increased. According to the original enrollment, there are 50 full-time students, 50 additional courses and about 20 additional courses. This year, there are 60 full-time students, 60 extra-curricular students and about 30 extra-curricular students, accounting for about 150.

In the seventh year of Xianfeng (1857), 28 students were added, and the number of places outside the class was unlimited. The total number of students has exceeded 200.

Successive mountain leaders include Gu Ruxiu, Jing Nanhua, Zhang Jinsheng, Hou Du, Jiang Xituo, Yi Jian, Niu, and other famous scholars. Li, one of the "Six Heroes of Jinjiang", and Zhang Bangshen, a writer, are both outstanding talents of the college.

In the 27th year of Guangxu (190 1), Chengdu Jinjiang Academy merged with Zunjing Academy. The following year (in the 28th year of Guangxu, 1902), the Governor of Sichuan authorized the establishment of Chengdu Du Fu Middle School in the original site of Jinjiang Academy and Sichuan Tongsheng University Hall in the original site of Zunjing Academy, and then renamed it Sichuan Provincial High School.
