What do I need to report for hotel entry and exit management?

Accommodation Registration According to Item (1) of Article 39 of the Exit and Entry Administration Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), if a foreigner stays in a hotel in China, the hotel shall register his accommodation in accordance with the relevant provisions on public security management of the hotel industry, and submit the registration information of the foreigner's accommodation to the local public security organ; (2) If a foreigner lives or stays in a residence other than a hotel, he shall register with the public security organ of the place of residence within 24 hours after his stay. Entry and exit means that citizens of a country leave the country through ports open to the outside world or designated ports with valid certificates and visas, enter other countries and regions, or return to their own territory from other countries or regions with the approval of the competent authorities of their own government.
