What are the duties of a five-star duty engineer?

1. Be responsible for the engineering manager, all the daily work of the hotel engineering department, and urge the professional supervisors and employees to finish the assigned work on time.

2. Arrive at work 15 minutes earlier than the working time specified on the duty watch, check the running status and temperature of equipment in important parts, check the work records of various professions, and prepare for the morning meeting.

4. Obey the tasks assigned by superiors and arrange the work of the personnel on duty in this class.

5. Patrol the hotel guest room floor, office area and elevator at least once a day, and arrange relevant personnel to deal with the problems immediately.

6. Keep in touch with the managers of security department and customer service department, perform urgent tasks, deal with emergencies, and handle the coordination of hotel outsourcing.

7. Check all important parts of the department, such as boiler room, air-conditioning machine room, air-conditioning cooling tower, power distribution room, domestic water tank and fire-fighting equipment, and check the operation of all important equipment. At least three times in each class.

8. Fill in the duty diary, and record what happened in this class in detail in the duty diary for the reference of the superior supervisor.

9. Before coming off work, check whether the employees of this class finish their work tasks and leave early, and make clear the handover with the employees on duty of the next class and arrange their work. Employees who violate discipline can put forward handling opinions according to the employee handbook.

10. The engineer on duty must have a strong sense of responsibility, work hard, get along well with employees, keep good contact with other departments, and take safeguarding the interests and image of the hotel as the highest goal.
