How does the hotel promote sales?

I worked as a cadre in the student union, stayed in many hotels around the school and talked to my boss.

Some of my own experiences and suggestions.

First of all, students don't believe in advertisements at all. If you want to start a business, it is enough to do a publicity campaign to open up popularity, such as sending membership cards, sponsoring school activities, and opening special rooms. (Must be low to unprofitable).

Secondly, you should never think that you are a high-end hotel and students will come naturally, which is unrealistic. If students are asked to choose hotel conditions in order: price, hardware conditions and service attitude. Obviously, if you want to be a student market, you have to lower the price and develop sideline products, such as catering. Students are single-minded. For example, when they go to the canteen to eat, they often talk to you for a few dollars for a table of food, but they drink several cases of wine for three dollars. They think three dollars a bottle is very cheap, but they don't know that this wine is the most profitable. In addition, instead of thinking about being a student market, we should focus on teachers, ordinary business people, parents and high-spending students.

Two different market positioning and management methods are different, so don't think that I want both, which is unrealistic. But one thing is certain: to do this market, we must join the culture, not to be a pure commercial hotel. To put it bluntly, you should be more humane than providing quality and optimized services, because both teachers and students care about this. I suggest you imitate the youth travel.

Finally, talk about the promotion activities. You mentioned that your decoration conditions are good, so this is also the purpose of your publicity, which is to let consumers know your advantages. You can make some lists with your service features printed on them and with very favorable prices. Find another student organization to organize an activity that is the same as your market positioning, and ask them to help you distribute the list. The estimated cost is around ten thousand. It's good for you to do it in style the first time, because you can't make it up later.
