Introduction to the scenic spots of the Great Wall near the sea: The Great Wall winds up along the green hills, with a total length of more than 6,000 meters and an existing 5000 meters. It starts from Range Rover Gate in the east, meanders along the ridge of Beigushan Mountain to Xiayanting, reaches the east bank of Lingjiang River among steep rocks, and extends to the foot of Jinshan Mountain, overlooking the river. It looks like a dragon, especially in the north, its steepness is comparable to that of Badaling Great Wall in Beijing, and it is called "Badaling in the south of the Yangtze River".

According to historical records, Qi Jiguang, a famous soldier in Ming Dynasty, fought against Japanese pirates for eight years. During this period, Qi Jiguang and Tan Lun, the magistrate, renovated the ancient city wall near the sea and creatively built a two-story hollow enemy platform, which has been preserved to this day. Qi and Tan were later transferred to Jizhou to build the Ming Great Wall near Beijing. They transferred 3000 soldiers from the south of the Yangtze River and applied their experience in building cities by the sea to the construction of the Great Wall of Ming Dynasty.

The hollow enemy platform of the Great Wall in the North originated from the sea. Therefore, there are many similarities in specifications, shapes and structures between the North and South Great Walls, which are actually the "normality" and "blueprint" of the Great Wall in the North, so it is called the Great Wall in the South of the Yangtze River.
